I don't really understand the vaccine passport thing. Surely it should be that you provide proof of a negative test if you're attending a large event regardless of whether you're vaccinated or not?5 points

While I think everyone should get a Covid vaccine if they’re able, I don’t think the government should necessarily be forcing people to get vaccinated. It’s a very slippery slope and it puts way too much trust in governments. Temporary emergency measures like temporary lockdowns for stopping a virus there’s no vaccine for - that’s fair and reasonable. But taking away peoples’ choices on what they put in their body? That’s pretty authoritarian. Letting governments act authoritarian “for good reasons” is giving governments a power that will be abused sooner or later.3 points

Well, there's being introverted, and then there's being socially anxious... Removing human contact from daily situations is mad, and governments striving to do it are fucking psychotic.2 points

It's more than worrying. Humans need a system, routine in a form of community this pandemic made this the most clear. I strongly oppose these things, second most dangerous after never dying shit.2 points

So will the government be paying millions in compensations to the families of those they potentially murder if they are forced to be vaccinated and suffer death as a side effect? No matter how small the chance, it will and has happened.1 point

Personally, haven't seen him play, but he's having an incredible season and there were calls from some local fans to give him a chance in our main squad. Our reserves usually play a diamond formation with him as one of the two strikers; he didn't perform very well and was usually being too egoistic at the start of the season, but seems to have improved, especially in terms of teamwork. Frankly, can't say much else...1 point

We should still see the information. If fans have to prove they’ve been vaccinated to get in the ground so should the players.1 point

I think smoking is bad, but I don't think this really does anything valuable for New Zealand in the long run. I think making cigarettes more taboo for kids makes kids want them even more. And like with drugs, when there's a demand for something illegal... it just creates a black market which encourages organised crime. It says something about where the world is at societally. Governments no longer trust that people can be informed to make good decisions, so they make the decisions for them. In the long run, I think that's bad for everyone.1 point

People who like to tell tales on their neighbours and look down on people for ‘breaking rules’. England is absolutely full of them.1 point

Have learnt how to cook some veggie Indian curries given that mum and dad are both quarantined! Made some chana (chickpeas) with rotli (chapattis). Turned out just like mum's!1 point
