  1. Might upset a few people but I'm praying for him to be kicked out to be honest. The anti-vax crowd are dangerous enough without being allowed to feel that their kicking, screaming, protesting and general losing of their minds over this case has been vindicated. I would have had some sympathy for Djokovic if this whole thing was a mix-up with his papers and the evidence suggested that he genuinely tested positive in the past six months to get an exemption. However, the claim is that he tested positive on 16th December, yet there is evidence of him at an awards' event on the 17th and a photoshoot with L'Equipe on the 18th. So either he was parading around carrying on with his normal life against the rules having tested positive, or the positive test on the 16th is simply an outright lie. Morally speaking, either of these should be sufficient to send him packing, but I understand that using evidence of him wandering around with Covid in Serbia, France, Monaco or wherever probably can't easily be used in a court case in Australia. There's a lot of narrative about him being 'locked up' which seems to be garnering him increasing sympathy from the global media. I'm sorry but the way refugees and asylum seekers are treated in some countries, they'd give an arm and a leg to be getting the treatment Djokovic is getting down there. Competing in the Australian Open isn't a basic human right either. He's been a silly man not getting the vaccine in the first place and it looks like he's gone on to be genuinely a pretty big dickhead either lying about having Covid to get what he wants or knocking about with other people while he knew he was infected. If he goes on to be allowed into the country and compete in the tournament, which he'll likely also win, what message does that send out to the rest of the world about following the rules? I don't like him but he's a role model to many.

  4. I agree. Anyone shouting about that disaster, at a football game no less, does deserve punishment. Callous and crass. Same for those who do plane or helicopter gestures at clubs who have faced those kind of disasters. Seen it at Chelsea and of course at Leicester. Disgusting really.

  5. Yeah, often injured unfortunately. Even in between major injuries he was always one to pick up knocks and miss a few weeks at a time.

  6. What was his injury record like pre-Liverpool? I think they should. The days of "Anything goes" as a football chant are long gone.

  7. @Stan when are you off to Jamaica from Barbados? And how long for? I look forward to heading about it. @nudge I also forgot to post you some pictures of my last trip and it's been about 3 months now . But I'll upload some later on.

  8. I’m a key worker that got my PCR positive back within 24 hours. How are multi million pound organisations not able to do this?

  9. If people think this was deliberate, what was the benefit of Liverpool getting the Arsenal game postponed ? They've given up home advantage in the second leg. Out of the three that missed Chelsea through Covid, there's probably only Firmino that will be involved in the semi final.

  10. I was disappointed we did not get a third, I think if you score first you will have a decent chance to get through. I don't expect you to play so poorly on the return leg. Your home crowd can certainly be the extra man if you get the first goal.

  12. Why are her brothers being interviewed by everyone, rabbiting on about how 'innocent' she is? I don't remember Gary Glitter's family being on sky news telling us about how he's been made a scapegoat of after he was convicted.

  13. When you see things like the BBC interviewing Alan Dershowitz re Ghislaine Maxwell, or Pinochet's family about election results in Chile, you really get a sense for where the moral consensus lies within the UK media-political establishment. And then much of the rest of our current troubles begin to make more sense.
