I wonder what Conte's apology to Diego Costa will sound like.

That bridge is well and truly broken. More chance of Cesc playing as a false 9 than Costa playing in a Chelsea kit ever again.

Juventus want Matic apparently and Matic is pushing for the transfer.

We are asking for 40 million and Juventus are asking for a lower price

The audacity of these fuckers xD. To create any bargaining power after the whole Sandro fiasco, they can rightfully fuck off.

Say 40 million, take it or leave it. And if they leave it, sell Matic to Inter for half the price.

if Matic really wants this move to Juve, the club will eventually get rid. I presume they'd want to get rid of an unhappy player who's been told he won't be playing.

Not unless we have someone lined up. And with the whole Sandro fiasco, we should be leeching Juve dry or just selling Matic to Inter.

Sanchez owes Arsenal fuck all and it would guarantee him another year where he can't win the CL let alone a league title. Another year older with just another domestic cup to show for it at most.

He's nailed on to leave.

I reckon he'll leave too.  But if he's offered enough money he'll stay!

I think what's going on is that he wants to leave but no club are willing to pay what Arsenal would want for him which is what's going on with some other players around Europe.

and arsenal don't want to pay the wages he wants either. so no wonder nothing is happening

The wages being quoted and if true, then I'm not surprised the club doesn't want to pay them.  Obviously only the club and the player know if this is true, but £400k a week is plain stupid.  He's world class and great, I've been a big validator of him here, but not at that price.  He's not there!

He will do another year with Arsenal, so will Ozil.

Ozil?, what potential 'top tier' suitors would he have?, I suspect none, it's either Arsenal or a big money move to china with him.

Of course Özil will stay...  Who's gonna pay those wages for half arsed performances for half of the season.  He's got a wonderful life in London and at Arsenal...

To get the best of him he has to be at a club where he's not expected to be the protagonist due to there already being 4 or 5 players better than him in terms of talent.  He was already at one of those and those were his most consistent moments as a professional footballer.  But even then I don't remember him playing 90 minutes for Real Madrid and was used as a luxurious ace in the pack to change games that had funnelled themselves.

Don't get me wrong...  He is extremely talented but curiously enough he's also extremely overrated and a luxury.

You will lose him on free if Wenger wont sell this summer, he can sign with a club in January which is only 4 months away  ..do you really want an unhappy player though that doesn't want to play for you anymore   ..we shouldn't offer more than 20million tbh when he's going for nothing in a few months, plus he's only got a few years left at his peak

To be honest?  I couldn't give a damn mate!

Arsenal FC is a total joke!  But should I go there now?  I'll only get my post being quoted with ridiculous statements about "reality".  The reality is that we're the sixth richest football club in the world and yet we are nowhere near the sixth best club in the world.  Maybe we're not even in the top 20.

He's too good for us but I'll tell you this.  His pretensions are also ridiculous and by the sounds of it he'll rape the club that does buy him which in my view will also work to neuter him and take that competitiveness out of his character...  Right now and since he joined us he's had a point to prove which is where his performances come from.  Make him ridiculously rich and for me not only is he not in that range at that price of wages, but that his mentality isn't in that area either and will just be a top player and not what he's been since joining us.

I can only see a club like PSG paying that money because their owner has no understanding of what money means.  That's why PSG are a crap club with overpaid mollycoddled individuals.  They're nothing...

How have they let his contract get so low on one of your top assets, it's just crazy how your club is being run mate

Because Alexis is clever!  He didn't want to extend for two main reasons...  Let his contract to run down so as to see how much other clubs speculate on him and what he's now worth after such a lot of work he's put in.  Due to that speculation we have the second reason...  The tool to use for his future which is go to a club that will actually compete for honours (the top ones) and also earn the wage we are living in these days in football.  It's not only transfer fees that have gone through the roof mate.

According to Italian sources, Chelsea are leaking information purposefully about certain targets like Aubemeyang and even Agüero in the last couple of days...  Apparently Conte is getting more and more frustrated because none of those are players he's asked for and it is infact the club that are targeting them without consulting him.  On Rai about an hour ago they had a well known Italian journalist that works for Tuttosport that said Conte has wanted Morata from the start and continues to want him.  That everything else is the club releasing information and that he is in no way connected to it although he understands he works for Chelsea FC and that he is under contract which means he will work with whatever is placed on his shoulders.

Arnie is leaving because we have a lack of ambition, so he's going to.... west ham... seems kinda like a lateral movement to me.

Money talks apparently but i'm not gonna say no to 23mil! Enjoy him West Ham.
