Should be injected with AIDS and have the word "cunt" tattooed on his forehead (in reverse order so nobody gets AIDS from the same tattoo artist). Was a very dirty tackle. Mané might be out after his fall. To lose another wouldn't be great. How's your back-up looking?

We put Origi in initially, but Alexader-Arnold is a more like for like replacement. I'd say both have done well since coming on... but Mane's injury wasn't from a Williams foul (that was a more general grievance), just unfortunate how his ankle tangled with Baines' leg... but looked completely unintentional. It twisted badly but I hope we can see more Mane this season - otherwise it's a massive loss for us.

With challenges like that Williams is very lucky to have received four yellows this season. No need for such aggression.
LFCMadLad Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Same old same old. Result never in doubt but injuries (yet again) sour the victory. We must be the unluckiest team for injuries bar Arsenal. Fhck it anyway, piss easy win.
Cicero Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Cesc at RW and Pedro at his famous RWB. Moses still unavailable and very attack minded from Conte. Love it!
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted April 1, 2017 Subscriber Posted April 1, 2017 Criticised the team sheet before and during the match. Why we've done this away at Liverpool is beyond me, playing three kids and changing the system was utterly stupid. I'm all for trusting the youth and having local lads in the side for the derby but there's got to be a balance. I have sympathy for most of the players really, with the exception of Barkley and Lukaku. I wonder what excuse we'll tell ourselves this time to cover for why they didn't perform in another big match? Lukaku had no service? Barkley is demoralised from the international break? Fuck off. Again and again these two have failed to deliver in these matches, especially Barkley, and even if there may be reasons why, leaning on them will just ensure that they won't progress past being top 6/7 players. Lukaku wants to play in the Champions League? Got to do more than score 18 goals a season against bottom six sides, you won't be playing against Hull and Sunderland in the Champions League. Gueye was also poor today. All three goals Mane/Coutinho went past him like he wasn't there. Don't know what was wrong with him today. To summarise, poor from Koeman, Gueye, Jagielka and Williams, very poor from Barkley and Lukaku, pretty standard day out at Anfield. In terms of moving forward, like I said before Jagielka and Williams cannot be in our team next year if we expect to challenge the top six and I don't think Koeman really fancies Funes Mori so where that leaves us defensively I have no idea. For United midweek and the rest of the season, we've got to find a solution to the defensive situation because Coleman and Mori aren't back this season, we're stuck with what we've got.
LFCMadLad Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I know I bleat on about Barkley and Everton fans think I'm just been biased but seriously, the kid is an absolute UK over-rated fraud. He's rubbish. Thats two games on the trot against us that he's been lucky to stay on the pitch because quite frankly he's not good enough. Been in the company of Mane, Coutinho, Firmino & even Can today showed how shite he really is.

Been in the company of Mane, Coutinho, Firmino & even Can today showed how shite he really is. Barkley has been quality since December. Absolute shite today admittedly but he's not rubbish. He HAS been over-hyped as a youngster but his poor form earlier this year was also massively over-stated. It's another case of English players getting over-rated because they've had 1 or 2 good matches as a teenager, you're right there. Barkley looks like he'll be a one-club man because he'll never be good enough to play for a top six side but he should always be good enough to do a job at Everton. He's not going to be as shite as Rodwell but he's not going to live up to the hype like Rooney going to United and winning titles. He's not the "next England captain" that the media went over the top with when he was a young lad but he's also not rubbish or a yard-dog. I can understand you saying he's shite by the way if you look at how he plays against Liverpool but the same could be said about nearly every Everton player in the last 15 years.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted April 1, 2017 Subscriber Posted April 1, 2017 Thought young Davies was good today and although he was on the end of a loss he'll get better over time with the right kind of coaching. Was he played out of position today because I seem to remember you'll playing him a bit further up the pitch?

He is a yard dog mate. He lacks consistency, he lacks a final ball, he never performs in the big games and he,s a dirty twat to boot. Even Peter Reid (an Everton legend) has said the same! When do people start looking at Barkley as a player that has been unbelievably over-rated instead of this myth that he's England's next best thing? Hes shite, pure shite. In my opinion he's a lower Premier League/Championship player. Spurs apparently want him and are willing to pay £30m. You should absolutely snatch their hand off! Put it this way, Lucas bossed him today!
Cure Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Solid goal from Fabregas. Nice and clear delivery from Hazard. Palace looked exposed there.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted April 1, 2017 Subscriber Posted April 1, 2017 What a goal by Benteke. Cool customer that.
Dave Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 England have really missed out with Wilfried Zaha. He's having an insane season.

Today again shows how luck plays a part instead of how good a medical team is. Weve now lost Mane for the rest of the season which is purely down to bad luck.
Toony Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Off-topic slightly, but why don't you have individual match topics? Easy to get lost when they're all in the same thread.

Cure Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Free kick at Old Trafford. Turned into nothing. Same thing happened in the Spurs game. Watford also failed to convert from a cross. Can't say they strike me as exciting fixtures so far. I hope Stan's enjoying his time at the King Power Stadium. That one sounds interesting.
Cure Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Ndidi scores his first goal in the league for Leicester! The crowds are chanting and people are saying it was an incredible strike. One of the best strikes of the season.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted April 1, 2017 Subscriber Posted April 1, 2017 Have to say Sky Sports were absolutely pathetic in their post match analysis. Ripping into Koemans comments about being proud of the team, what the fuck do you expect? Him to come out and blast the youngsters for not playing well enough? Took the presenter to mention the fact that Everton were missing up to 5 first team players which the 'experts' failed to mention. It's not an excuse because we were poor but they were talking as if this was the team we play every week. Also the interviewer has gone into that interview with Koeman trying to get him to say something controversial about anything and trying to get him to sound like bitter lemons, then the one thing he did say about Klopp's antics towards the officials they go and ask the Liverpool manager about that to try and stir shit up. Klopp annoyed me at times today but fair play to him for not getting sucked into it. Well handled by both managers. Media are absolutely disgusting cunts at times in this country constantly trying to turn football into a soap opera. There's enough bullshit already without trying to create more.
