apart from Bravo getting a bit brave with the ball in his 6 yard box, the defence definitely looked more calm and organised. Southampton had nothing against them. Amazing how much difference one man can make. Always rated Kompany so it's good to see him back. Hope he holds out til the end of the season.

Sane is quality. Such a good finisher for a winger, as well. Frightening how good he can be considering how young he is.

I wonder if Pep will give Hart a chance next season, hopefully Bravo will be sold, rather keep Caballero as the number 2   ...our defence has always been a shambles when Kompany has been out for a long time. last time he played a full season we had the best defensive stats in the league and Hart won another golden gloves, shows what a BIG difference he makes to us

I wonder if he will even make it to the next game xD  ...such a shame for him last few years

I saw Torino's match against Inter, and Hart looked a right mess. Don't think he is a gk for a league and UCL fighting side, which Pep would hope for next season.

Not confident about today. Our recent record at West Brom's ground is rubbish.

Just seen Shaqiri's goal. One hell of a strike. Fair play. Can't get more top-corner with a precise and powerful shot than that. What amused me is about 10 seconds before, Hull are in possession of the ball with Markovic, for some reason he stops. Literally just stops moving and stands on the spot. Stoke have the ball, knock a few passes around and Markovic doesn't help out with tracking back or trying to get the ball back xD

They are good to be fair, don't buy into the idea that they can catch Chelsea though.

The bloke in the Southampton end has just annoyed me too. Vincent Kompany scores past his team and what does he do? Records the celebrations on his phone - people like that should be escorted out of the ground.

Yeah not a chance. Title has been Chelsea's for ages. Not to piss Storts off but if Spurs and Chelsea continue winning, it really could look like we could end any kind of chance of Spurs catching them when they play us away on 18th May.

They had 6 different shouts for penalties for handball. It was mental. I remember thinking the Albrighton one was at the time as well.

just remembered the other one which was the most likely to get a penalty. when Benteke had his shot saved by Kasper and it looped up to where King & Huth were on the post. Think it just dropped on to King's hand which he could have avoided.

MOTD made me laugh last night. Jamie Vardy must have been fuming drinking back his skittled vodka last night when his 'hilarious' remark of Benteke using Benaloune as a step ladder was met by two English legends on the couch just casually saying 'Yeah, I don't think it was a foul'. xD

I would have taken a draw before the match and given the circumstances of how the match went I think we should be the happier side. We had most of the possession, we did well to come back from two goals down, we had the chances to win the game, and on another day we would have got one of our penalty shouts. We're beginning to look up rather than down now and the feel good factor will hopefully see us through to the end of the season.

Hardly a massive blow. If 3 or 4 of the first team players had to miss the game, that's a massive blow. If your striker with 10 goals in his last 6 starts misses the game that's a massive blow. If your above average goalkeeper is missing and replaced by your other above average keeper that is a minor setback

So can Courtois to be fair? I really think he's over-rated myself.

Courtois was poor last season (but so was everyone), this season he's been very good and deserves some of the acclaim he gets when people tend to put him in that group of goalkeepers (where there's probably about ten) who are in that bracket of the best around. He's made some vital saves this season and coming out of some games I've looked back and thought if he didn't make that save (s) we could have dropped points, 'game winning saves' so to speak.  He was also very good in 2014/2015 for us and not forgetting he's also had some very good seasons for Atlético as well, I remember for example the semi final of the Champions League against them where he played against us (despite being on loan) and he was unreal. I wouldn't be outraged if someone said he was overrated though but for me he's in that top bracket of keepers, there are perhaps a number of keepers better than him in world football right now but we'll do very well to get better and hence we can be more than happy with what we've got even if there's always been an indication he won't be here for the long haul.

As for Begovic, I think he's a good goalkeeper and when I say he's hit and miss I'm solely looking at his performances with Chelsea, the circumstances he finds himself in doesn't help him, as of course he only plays when Courtois isn't available. When it goes bad, he isn't calamity mind. Begovic as a whole (looking at his career and what not) is a good keeper but definitely not top bracket, for me when he comes in for us he's either class or alternatively you're going 'fuck sake, he should have done better there'. You can perhaps then also see the difference in class between Courtois and Begovic. Obviously it's not easy coming in here and there and not playing much throughout the season, put Begovic in goal at any club in the league for a season, he'd probably play well. We'll see how he does today I guess. He also seems to be very busy for us every time he plays, it's weird.

Schwarzer was a lot more reliable when he came in, Begovic tends to go one way or the other.

Set piece, then headed on,  then headed home. 1-0 Liverpool.

That's a very West brom goal. Thankfully it was scored by us.

We don't have a great record at the Hawthornes though so it's far from over yet.
