Cicero Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Luiz, Alonso, and Kante putting in spectacular shifts. Great defensive display all around.
Administrator Stan Posted March 6, 2017 Administrator Posted March 6, 2017 Cicero putting the mockers on Chelsea today Great finish from Lanzini but Chelsea will be devastated that they've conceded.
Cicero Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I'll take it. West Ham desperately tried to expose our weakness and I thought our defenders did well to cope against that.
Administrator Stan Posted March 6, 2017 Administrator Posted March 6, 2017 yeah Carroll never got a look in. Luiz and Cahill were dominance personified.
Happy Blue Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 West Ham are a shambles, we have stuck 12 goals past them this season like any world class team would, how are they mid table??? one of the easiest games by far
True Blue Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Great team win, i want Kante's babies. The team started of slow but after the goal it went well for us, as West Ham usually steps up against Chelsea. My man of the match would be Kante but the attack apart from Costa was also great. The backline rock solid and even Thibo made a great save. Costa had a very very poor game but the thing is that he gets half a chance and he scores that is why he plays all the time, he even had a great shot denied by Randolph to make it 0-3. Now we have a 7 days rest until next monday and the Fa Cup game.

carefreeluke Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Credit to Alonso who's improved over the last month or so. Moses was good as well particularly defensively but there were two golden crossing moments in the game from him and his attempts were awful, both times he had plenty of time on the ball as well but that sums him up, he has to do everything on instinct and at a fast pace. Credit to Matic, he's done well coming on in the last couple of games. Cesc's work defensively is underrated and dare I say it he's done more than Matic in that department at times this season. Hazard and Kante were the best for us. Two worries for us was another sloppy goal conceded and that we were poor in possession at times, too many passes given away for my liking. Wasn't too impressed with West Ham and was expecting much more, shite stadium but mind you the atmosphere was decent there when we played them in the League Cup. Whilst admittedly I was worried about Carroll before the game, when your attacking play becomes so choreographed towards him, it can in some respects make things easier for us the opposition, it's too one dimensional and it's into Carroll and nothing else. We prepared for that and hence most of their attacking threat was significantly reduced the whole game. Whilst Bilic was right to attempt to exploit that option, I just don't see how you make things that black and white/predictable for an opposition, West Ham didn't demonstrate anything else what so ever apart from playing around Carroll. Not having Antonio was a loss in fairness in this regard. We also find alarmingly loads of space in the transition from opposition set pieces and in particular corners, the way we score the first goal also makes me question the tactical work that goes on in this league.
Dave Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Liverpool fans may be pleased to here that they will be getting the twenty million they wanted for Sakho this summer if he keeps playing as well as he has done in the last two games. Most fans that went have been calling him out as the best player on the pitch against West Brom.

Administrator Stan Posted March 8, 2017 Administrator Posted March 8, 2017 Man City vs Stoke tonight. Sane and Stones to nail it tonight.
Happy Blue Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 0-0 HT ..need a better performance in the 2nd half, bring Silva on and get Navas off, shame Sterling is not even on the bench. Kolarov is worrying me at CB too

Administrator Stan Posted March 8, 2017 Administrator Posted March 8, 2017 Great result for Chelsea. Oh and Stoke.
Burning Gold Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Imagine missing that Barca game to watch your team draw 0-0 at home to Stoke

Looks like we had already given up on the title before kick off, 50% effort and squad rotation ..looks like Pep will settle for the CL & FA Cup this season before doing the quad next year
LFCMadLad Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 This season is pretty much panning out like last season isn't it? Only one team showing any consistency whilst the others do their best to fall over each other.
