Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted October 1, 2020 Subscriber Posted October 1, 2020 Its been over 15 years since these two played each other. Love to hear what the predictors say here. I am going with a Leeds win.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 1, 2020 Subscriber Posted October 1, 2020 Everything about this points to silly score so I've gone with an incredibly childish prediction of 3-5.

Lucas Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 This could be anything. My heart says we'll scare them and possibly nab a score draw. My head says we will get the backlash from last week and they will hammer us. We're going to play the only way we know how. Whether that is incredibly naive or not, we'll see what happens. I suspect it's the latter but then again, we're not coached to stick men behind the ball and make it difficult. City are one of the worst sides we could leave spaces for and surely after last week there is no way they will be as off it as last week. I really feel the likes of Mahrez, KDB and Sterling will exploit that and be lethal tomorrow. On top of that, Jack Harrison can't play as part of his loan agreement so we'll miss the threat he brings. I think we'll score, but I sense a 1-3 or 1-4 on the cards for them.
Lucas Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 That City team looks ominous. Why couldn't we face Ake and Garcia? Laporte and Dias are going to be far superior, you can just tell.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 3, 2020 Subscriber Posted October 3, 2020 I'd have fancied Leeds to get something here but I sense Man City won't allow another performance like they had last week.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted October 3, 2020 Subscriber Posted October 3, 2020 City are already looking a lot sharper than they did last week. I think once Leeds settle into the game a little bit they'll start to threaten the City backline a lot more but at the moment, albeit it's only been 5 or so minutes, but City look the more likely to get something.
Bluewolf Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I think it might be a bit much to hope that City will have two bad games in a row... with a bit of luck Leeds can bag a couple at least to give them a fright..
LFCMike Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Man City's problems come when they don't get the second. If they get the next goal they win this by 3, 4 or 5. If Leeds get the next one i don't think anyone will be shocked if Leeds get something from this
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted October 3, 2020 Subscriber Posted October 3, 2020 Mendy is getting a little frustrated in the City defence. He's on a booking and I can see him picking up another as Ayling and Costa both frustrate him even more.
LFCMike Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 That Mendy is crap isn't he? Leeds should have equalised there but Ederson did well to be fair to him
Danny Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Amazon Prime doc made it seem like Mendy’s very important to team morale, but he’s shit defending. Weirdly City we’re at their best defensively with Delph at left back
Bluewolf Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Possession has taken a huge swing in Leed's favour... can they make it count though??
Danny Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Man City are playing so poorly, passing is terrible. No cohesion, they don’t look like a team.
Bluewolf Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Just now, Danny said: Man City are playing so poorly, passing is terrible. No cohesion, they don’t look like a team. Didn't they do the same against Leicester last week?? start really well then faded away..

Inverted Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I get that part of the reason they signed Mahrez is that he's unpredictable and will improvise, but they really just don't seems to have any fluidity today when he's involved. It's like they just give him the ball, and then he's always going to go for goal even if he's 40 yards out and has to beat 2 men.
Danny Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Rodri just doesn’t suit this team, the top clunky and slow
binder Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I dont want to spread baseless rumours like an English tabloid, but Ake is Rudd Gullit's illegitimate love child.
Inverted Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 13 minutes ago, Danny said: Rodri just doesn’t suit this team, the top clunky and slow I think he works fine if the opposition are shitting themselves and they give you control of the game, but against teams like Leeds who basically go out to make the game chaos he seems exposed. And it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy because the more gets caught out, the bolder City's opponents become, and then he looks even more vulnerable. He looked quite good at the start of last season when City had a kind of aura of invincibility and he was just jogging about pinging the ball left and right.
