Results - Gameweek Five

Casualties (4)

The numbers are finally whittled down to single figures this weekend, with the pain starting on Friday night for @The Palace Fan, who backed Leeds United to win at St. James' Park. Bielsa's men drew first blood through Raphinha but were denied the three points required by the competition when Allan Saint-Maximin struck back. The shock of the weekend came among the 3pm kick-offs when Man City failed to break down Southampton's resistance, the 0-0 draw costing @Stan and @Pugwash a spot in Gameweek Six. Finally, @Khan of TF365 was the only Sunday casualty, backing Leicester in their 2-1 defeat to Brighton on the south coast.

Unlucky chaps. A very respectable 4-pointer in this round to start the season and a mass exodus in the next Gameweek could still see you nick a bonus point for joint 3rd, you never know... See you in the next round!

Survivors (8)

The majority of our remaining contenders were counting their lucky stars this weekend, having made it this far without using up their Liverpool chip. @RandoEFC, @Eco, @CaaC (John), @DeadLinesman, @Bluewolf and @Michael were all beneficiaries of their 3-0 Anfield win over Crystal Palace. @Pyfish went in another direction, backing Watford with confidence that they could inflict a 5th successive defeat on Norwich at Carrow Road, a brace from Ismaila Sarr helping to see him over the line as the only player left with both of their Man City and Liverpool cards to play. Finally, @Storts prepared for Tottenham's 3-0 thumping by Chelsea on Sunday afternoon by making Tuchel's men his pick for this set of fixtures. A tough day for Spurs fans but at least he books his place in Gameweek Six.

Congratulations to all, some big scores are heading our way, but with most players whittling down the traditional 'banker' options, who can survive the longest? Please go ahead and make your picks for the sixth Gameweek.

Preview - Gameweek Six

Below is your updated table along with the next set of fixtures. Do double-check which teams you have already used as I reserve the right to be a lazy bastard and not check before it's too late.

My pick for Gameweek Six is Leicester.

@LucasAs I've been saying, Bielsa is nothing more than Ian Holloway on a bucket.

To be fair, Ollie could carry off the nickname 'el loco'.
