Was at a pre-wedding event so caught some of the game watching on the phone (standard).

Liverpool appeared the better side and had better chances. Deserved the win.

Some decent penalties as well.

? They wore yellow as an away colour since the 50s, or do you mean they should be wearing blue because there is no clash?

The latter.

FA Cup should always be after the league finishes. I think it is atrocious how the FA cup is treated

Fully agree. Last season the perfect example for me - we won it for the first time ever yet still managed to end our season on a bit of a downer, and I just don't think that's a circumstance that should be possible except for losing a European final.

Deserved to win but scored zero goals :what: I will never get that

Had better chances?

Not hard to work out.

but they didn’t score, so they weren’t better chances at all

The quality of the chance isn't dictated in whether they score.

If a person misses an open goal, that's as clear a chance as you can get.

Liverpool created more chances to score. They deserved to win.

The deserve to win if they score more goals, which they didn’t.

Jordan Henderson becomes the first LFC captain to lift the league, CL, FA cup & league cup I’m pretty sure.

That's surprising isn't it? And then I thought about it and I can't think of one who did it.

Anyway, I managed to catch the second half of extra time and penalties.

What a team.

Only watched part of the game due to having a family event I needed to attend.

One thing that stands out for me whenever I see Chelsea is Pulisic has to be the most wasteful player ever, how many times does he drag shots wide from excellent positions!

Can't just single him out to be fair. Chelsea fans have a tendency to bash our entire attack whilst praising Mount at the same time. It was Pulisic yesterday but Mount missed a hattrick of easy chances in the league cup final.  Lukaku skying his shot over the bar on his strong foot after beating VVD to goal should hopefully convince the remaining Chelsea fans who have their heads up his arse that he will never be good enough.

Also hearing both Werner and Havertz were injured/ill which just makes things that much shittier. Unless Boehly plans on terminating some contracts and backing Tuchel think we are going to be seeing more of the same for the foreseeable future. Scraping Top 4 season after season.

Came here to congratulate the Liverpool bunch. Want to felicitate every Briton now, though. Most have been a very quite day yesterday, if that's a headline worthy of page one.

Please don't use the Daily Mail as a barometer of what Brits think!
