Moderator Tommy Posted October 16, 2022 Moderator Posted October 16, 2022 Nice one, Liverpool. Happy to see that result.

Nunez always causes havoc whenever he plays, it's just the composure that's missing at the moment. He'll come good. Ignoring Salah annoyed me, but other than that he was brilliant. He will definitely come good for us, but I think he has been good since he came back from his ban. Did more than Haaland did today anyways.

Haaland made our goal that should of stood lol ..what did Nunez do??
Cicero Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 City were pushing for a goal and had a very high line, hence why Nunez thrived. That really is the only time to bring him on, or against opposition that leave a lot of space.
Dr. Gonzo Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 City are fucking pretenders, Arsenal are winning the league. Exact result we needed though.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted October 16, 2022 Subscriber Posted October 16, 2022 What we saw today is vintage Pep. Once his mind is set on what he thinks the tactics need to be nothing else will do. He could have changed players and done something to change the game, but he didn't and that cost them today. This isn't the first time he's done it either. When it works, it works very well but when he gets into his stubborn mode it really does backfire on him. It's the primary reason City will never win the CL.
Dave Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 The reality is Haaland should have got a three match ban for kicking Andersen in the face. If he did Haaland would be on eight less goals and were still debating over which side purchased the better forward.

This is just a minor blip and his system works more times than not. The only reason you'd want him gone is because you can't get European glory.

Even the lads in sky studio say he dived, Haaland didn't pull him that hard and ref didn't even blow, you cheated us today mate but it's ok, makes the league more exciting

He over thinks the important games and goes nuts with the tactics
Chickasaw Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 I posted before the match that City wouldn't get it all their own way and I wondered a couple of days ago whether Haaland would score against a top team. Hmmmmm.
LFCMike Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Liverpool were brilliant there considering the circumstances

I know you love a joke and think you're funny but time and a place.
