LFCMike Posted November 24 Posted November 24 No idea who this co commentator is on my stream but he reckons that was a push in the back by Konate and it's a definite pen touching someone's back followed by them throwing themselves to the floor has never been a penalty Quote

Administrator Stan Posted November 24 Author Administrator Posted November 24 Ffs Liverpool get a grip. Quote
Dr. Gonzo Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Really well timed run. Hopefully we keep the intensity up. Hopefully Gravenberch is okay. He’s been crucial for us this season. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted November 24 Author Administrator Posted November 24 Good, now get more of a grip. Preferably Salah again for the FPL points. Quote

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted November 24 Subscriber Posted November 24 Bit slow to get going and then it got good towards the end. Have to say that I wish Salah had scored a hat-trick, the first goal alone is a thing of beauty. Quote
Rick Posted November 24 Posted November 24 What a position this teams has got themselves into. Crucial win going into next week. Quote
MUFC Posted November 24 Posted November 24 The first 80 seconds was the greatest opening 80 seconds from a new manager in the whole history of football. Quote

Doesn't matter anyway Liverpool still won Quote
Reluctant Striker Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Still only 3 points of 3rd, but.. Villa are definitely struggling from what they had to do in the transfer window. Which did include looking to tread water rather than press on. Difficult to predict anything but a battering at Stamford Bridge next weekend. At least Manchester is providing amusing distractions.. OrangeKhrush Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Liverpool 8 clear and sitting pretty, Arsenal and City need to win 3 and Liverpool lose 3 to overturn it and liverpool dont look like a lose 3 on the spin type Quote

Administrator Stan Posted November 25 Author Administrator Posted November 25 How was Southampton's penalty given Looked clearly outside to me. Martin's insistence on playing out from the back is just hilarious now given how many mistakes it brings. It was obvious from last season it wasn't going to work yet he won't budge. They're quite obviously going down the longer he stays. Quote

I can't believe there are managers who still outright refuse to find any sort of balance with this. Playing that way is generally the most successful way to approach Premier League football when it's done correctly but teams and managers who continue to do it when it isn't working are just naive. I get the argument that they have to keep doing it to get better at it but if you still need to work on it then do it in training, not when you're defending a 2-1 lead against the league leaders with a quarter of the game to go. Cicero Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Cucurella and Caicedo have honestly been our players of the season so far. Quote

OrangeKhrush Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Choking FC, the amount of times this club drops the ball is a lack of winner mentality. 5 goals scored in 6 home games tells the story. Quote
