Lot's of praise for this lad. Doubt he will break into City's first team ever, but who knows. McEachran was 16 when he made his CL debut, now plays with Brentford.

I reckon he will, especially under Guardiola.

Man City fielding a B team so if they lose Napoli will be pissed

Thought they might, in fact surprised they've taken as many of the top players as they have. Massive game on Sunday.

Brilliant goal from Shakhtar. Worked from back to front with ease much like Man City would against teams. Ederson caught in no man's land. Ismaily scores in to an open goal.

Aguero scores a penalty to get a goal back for Man City.

Meanwhile Feyenoord pick up their first points of the season with a late goal over Napoli! 2-1 to the Dutch side!

Gutted for Napoli although they would’ve needed City to win too and that didn’t materialise. Sarri really does have to win something this season or get very close in terms of the Scudetto because it’s all well and good all this pretty football, but his team is toothless .

Fancied Shakhtar last night when I saw the City line-up, sensible from Pep really and to be fair like others have said he'd probably rather have taken Shakhtar through with him than Napoli, who could have been a danger to anyone over two legs on their day.
