Inverted Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Andy Robertson was 30% responsible for that goal. Elite pass and dummy run
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I don't understand why Wijnaldum starts in any away matches. Firmino probably should have scored that one. BUT LOVREN SCORES ON THE RESULTING CORNER!
Administrator Stan Posted December 17, 2017 Author Administrator Posted December 17, 2017 a goal from nothing almost! thought the ball had gone out but Lovren makes it 2 from a Liverpool corner. Flicked on by Wijnaldum, Firmino volleys it back in (where it looked to be out but replays show it was in). Lovren dives in to double the lead.
HK85 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Bournemouth midfield and defence can't deal with anything here. Great goal Coutinho, will look very good in that Barca team. Robertson so much better than Moreno it's offensive.
Administrator Stan Posted December 17, 2017 Author Administrator Posted December 17, 2017 that should have been Bournemouth back in the game. Defoe 1 on 1 with Mignolet but he hits the post.
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Wow I can't believe Defoe hit the post there.
Administrator Stan Posted December 17, 2017 Author Administrator Posted December 17, 2017 How has Salah missed?! Brilliant link-up by Henderson, Salah and Coutinho. Salah volleys straight at Begovic though.
LFCMadLad Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 We are just so good going forward away from home. All we need is another 4 and the points are safe. Salah with another. 20 goals before half way but he Just doesn’t improve us though.
Administrator Stan Posted December 17, 2017 Author Administrator Posted December 17, 2017 Salah is sensational. Running rings around Charlie Daniels and Bournemouth in general. They can't get close to him.

Thought that was pretty well saved tbh, a more shite keeper would probably not have closed their legs and caught it with their thighs. Made up for it with that, what a fucking goal. What a fucking player.
Cicero Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 @LFCMadLad But does he really improve you though?

LFCMike Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Great first half and we should be home and dry but we know that can never be a sure thing with us
Inverted Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Liverpool scored 3 last season too, so unless they score more I don’t see what difference Salah has made.

Firmino with a diving header. Coutinho with the assist. Perhaps a shade offside.

We are approaching the half way point of the season, everyone's played everyone (practically). If United beat Leicester next Saturday they will have 44 points after 19 games, double that and we finish with 88 points (not saying we will ) which in any normal year would be enough to finish top. It is only City's fantastic play that makes us all look like chumps. United are 8 points better off than their where at this point last year. Yeah we don't look good at times and we have caught a couple of teams, especially in August, that were playing absolutely terrible football, but all teams benefit from the schedule at times. United 's schedule is no more easier or convenient than any other team. United have played away to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, and the way Spurs play at Wembley, you say the only really hard away game in the second half of the season is agaislnt City. Personally I think United are having a good season, so is Chelsea, it just unfortunate for both of us that City are having a truely remarkable year.

Redcanuck Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Liverpool can look devastating at time, Coutinho and Salah destroying Bournemouth. Liverpool really need to keep both out of Barcelona and Real Madrid's hands.
LFCMike Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 After all the piss taking when he first came, Chamberlain is coming along nicely. Very good today. Class in the interview there too

Toony Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Liverpool were class today, must be frustrating when they can perform like that but fail to beat Everton or West Brom at home in the same week. Bournemouth in trouble I think, not much quality in that team.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 17, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 17, 2017 Over to us tomorrow. A win would put us up to 9th on 25 points and one behind Leicester. One game short of the midpoint of the season that's pretty good damage limitation after the shambles we've been for the first 3 months. I look at this one similar to the Newcastle game. Basically if we defend like we have done against them and Liverpool I don't see where Swansea are going to score from and at the other end we will surely score at least 1 which should be enough. This is Everton though so it won't end up being that simple.
