Happy Blue Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 If Manchester City win eight of their remaining 13 Premier League games then it will be mathematically impossible for any other club to catch Pep Guardiola's team and that's if United win everyone of there last games, the more points they drop, the less we need to win the title. Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs could both still finish above united too, what game will the title be won at? Outstanding fixtures Burnley (A) Leicester City (H) Arsenal (A) Chelsea (H) Stoke City (A) Brighton & Hove Albion (A) Everton (A) Manchester United (H) Tottenham Hotspur (A) Swansea City (H) West Ham United (A) Huddersfield Town (H) Southampton (A)
Happy Blue Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 Even if we start losing a few games it's still all but over now Burnley (A) ......WIN Leicester City (H) ....WIN Arsenal (A).... LOSS Chelsea (H) ...LOSS Stoke City (A) ...WIN Brighton & Hove Albion (A) ...WIN Everton (A) ...LOSS Manchester United (H) ...WIN Tottenham Hotspur (A) ...LOSS Swansea City (H) ...WIN West Ham United (A) ...WIN Huddersfield Town (H) ...WIN Southampton (A)... WIN

6666 Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Man City will probably need less than 8 wins. Man Utd will drop more points.

WIN Think your loses won't come against the big boys but those errant teams who have now woken up at the business end of the season to keep their hopes alive. That said the title is yours no one can take it away from you now.

Administrator Stan Posted February 1, 2018 Administrator Posted February 1, 2018 You'll thrash us at home. Don't think you'll even need 8 because the way that Utd process is going means they'll drop more points than you will.
Cicero Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Has to be the easiest title win in recent memory. Credit to City

Credit to City I thought the same last season when you was 9pts clear ...id rather the title race be decided on the last day if possible, more exciting then winning it in March/April ...i hope we lift the trophy in front of united while playing the full U-19 side against them
LFCMadLad Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Good job they are not playing us every week
HK85 Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Would get boring winning 5-0 every week I suppose.
LFCMadLad Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Yeah, I prefer a close intense game. That’s why we let them back into it at Anfield, just for giggles.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted February 1, 2018 Subscriber Posted February 1, 2018 Haha if you lose at Goodison you'll be the worst title winners of all time.

SirBalon Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Everytime a whisk past the title of this thread I keep on thinking it actually says; MAN CITY NEED 8 MORE PLAYERS TO WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE I swear I’m not even joking... Every single time I think it says that to then see it’s talking about points.

Carnivore Chris Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 English pundits really look like clowns now don't they? When Pep was managing Barcelona, they all claimed how he wouldn't get a team to play like that in England(yet he's doing it with a inferior team), how it's too physical, couldn't handle Stoke on a Thursday night, blah blah blah. Luckily we are seeing a better bunch of younger pundits hitting the scene now, such as Lampard, for example, who would be embarrassed if he heard nonsense like that in the studio.
