Cicero Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 There is no winning mentality with Spurs and Poch. How many times has this happened over the past years? Shit display in games where it matters. United and Mourinho are the exact opposite.
Honey Honey Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Is it really bottling it? Man Utd have been above Tottenham in the league all season.
6666 Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Tottenham will start getting some flack soon. They've lost the last 8 FA Cup semi finals they've been in. Ten seasons without a trophy win as well.
Inverted Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Got to say the constant narrative of "Jose finding a way to win" seems silly considering the points gap and the even bigger financial gap between the sides. There was literally no reason to treat United as anything but clear favourites today, except for the fact that people have diminished expectations of Mourinho.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted April 21, 2018 Subscriber Posted April 21, 2018 One of the saltiest threads of the season which is funny with the lack of spurs fans taking part in it. Vintage Poch/Spurs.
The Artful Dodger Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 I'm not sure why Spurs get accused of bottling. Manchester United are the better team, as shown by the table.
Danny Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Wouldn't say Spurs bottled it considering they lost against a side that are better than them and has spent a couple hundred more million on their squad, but Poch's vocal disregard of this competition obviously done him no favours (guessing it was to try and calm the players/play against the pressure of bottling it). I'd like to see them win something just so it means someone other than United/Arsenal/Oil club doesn't win, but seeing how they've regressed this season and will most likely struggle to catch up with Liverpool, United and City next season their only hope is a Cup competition.
Bluewolf Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 I don't think they bottled it so to speak but obviously this is the 8th FA Cup semi final that they have lost... It's that final hurdle they seem unable to overcome when it matters most..

Cicero Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Missed the starting 11, anyone please Caballero; Azpilicueta, Cahill ©, Rudiger; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Emerson; Willian, Giroud, Hazard
True Blue Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Cesc starts, meaning Kante on his own again today. Chelsea are expected to line up as follows: Caballero; Azpilicueta, Cahill (c), Rudiger; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Emerson; Willian, Giroud, Hazard. Subs: Eduardo, Christensen, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Barkley, Pedro, Morata.
Administrator Stan Posted April 22, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 22, 2018 Saints squad as well l
Administrator Stan Posted April 22, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 22, 2018 Hazard goes on a run down the middle and plays in Willian who cuts inside, shoots and hits the bar.
Bluewolf Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Got off to a good start but that has faded fairly quickly... Southampton defending well when needed..
Cicero Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 May as well play with only one midfielder. Does Cesc even offer anything anymore?
Bluewolf Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Surprised we are not playing with more intensity... This is our last chance for some potential Silverware in what has been an otherwise poor season.. We must be waiting for them to get a couple first so we can up our game....
Cicero Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 So passive again. You'd think this team would fucking learn. I honestly think we looked better off the ball under Mourinho. No pressure and always inviting Saints forward.
Administrator Stan Posted April 22, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 22, 2018 what a goal by Giroud and what a start for Chelsea after HT! Very fancy footwork in a tight area.
Bluewolf Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 We need to move up a couple of gears in this 45.. show a willingness to want to win this rather than waiting until we concede and then up our game... Just as I say that... Great footwork by Giroud
