@Cicero won't be anything like that, that's strictly don't doing their own universe. I don't think they or marvel intend for a crossover, though it would be cool if they did.

Venom is marvel mate? There was rumors Spider-Man would make a cameo in the film. 

Also confirmed Carnage is in the film.

I believe that Sony don't want a shared universe with the marvel films. They may use Spiderman at some point but I read that they intend for these films to be their own standalone thing. Hopefully not, it would be cool if sony and marvel had agreed on a shared universe.

I kind of see why they would go that route. Make Venom It's own thing. The cast itself is better than any of the marvel films.
