Any players you'd realistically want to sign or happy you'll get rid of? Or who's running their contract down that should be signed up by now to stay at your club a bit longer?

Baines was class today. Should try and keep him for another year as second choice but understand if he wants to go to the MLS or simply retire.

Fuchs apparently wants to go back to America too, but for NFL reasons (wants to be a kicker). Wonder if he'll get persuaded to have a year in MLS as well...

How is Benalouane only just out of contract xD

I'd actually consider giving Morgan, Fuchs and Simpson another year as back-ups assuming no-one younger comes through. Morgan's actually doing well this year after a very slow start, the other two have been dependable when called upon.

Think it's time to let Okazaki go though. Not scored in over a year and not fancied by the manager.

Edit: Actually in fairness I forget we consider Amartey our second choice right back now. Simpson probably goes. Morgan maybe goes as we do have Benkovic coming back.

No names on that list that really stand out as someone loads of teams will be after, barring probably Ander Herrera. Can see someone like a West Ham or Newcastle taking a punt on Welbeck.

I think Giroud and Kompany could still do well for many teams in the Premier League.

Chelsea

Willy Caballero - Think his contract will be renewed for an extra year, solid as a back up.
Gary Cahill - He could to a good job in any team apart from the top 6.
Cesc Fabregas - Already gone
Olivier Giroud - I like Olivier, but don't rate him that much even as a back up.
Rob Green - Useless signing, should had Bulka as third, and second in the next season.
David Luiz - He will get a new contract, but shouldn't be a starter.
Lucas Piazon - He has been on loans since forever, never knew why we kept him

Genuinely forgot he was still with us.

Were there just no interest from clubs over the summer and January?

Morgan's getting another year assuming just as back-up. Simpson and Fuchs will probably go though.

Cahill would be an interesting one for us, brining him back and all; he'd certainly be good for the dressing room but on the wages he'd likely demand I can't see it.

Will be interesting to see how the situation at Tottenham plays out with Eriksen, Vertonghen and Alderweireld. Terrible from the people running the club to let it get this far. They should've just got the contracts signed by any means necessary. What a terribly run club. What is Wenger playing at?
