It's still sinking in. 13 states will imminently have banned abortion from the moment of fertilisation. The only exception common to all states is to save the life of the mother. If a 12 year old is raped by her grandpa... 9 of 13 states say carry to term. If a baby is diagnosed with a lethal birth defect and is guaranteed to die in birth. 12 of 13 states say Carry. To. Term. What a nightmare for the mental health of the parents.5 points

Just trying to defuse the situation, not sure why I've received such a negative post. I've explained what's happened in the PM, if you could just reply to it please - I've sent you it again for the second time, so there should be a "2" at the top right. Cheers2 points

- Mammoths were still alive when the Great Pyramids were built, as a small enclave of dwarf mammoths on a Russian island survived into antiquity. - The idea of a personal carbon footprint as we know it was popularized by fossil fuel company BP. - The notion that the typical serial killer is a clever psychopath who effortlessly outwits authorities is a Hollywood myth. On average, serial killers have below-average IQs. - Although attempts have been made to train monkeys/apes in sign language, none of them has ever been confirmed to ask a question. The only non-human being to thus far ever ask a question was Alex the grey parrot, who saw himself in the mirror and asked "what color?" - It is widely known that Leif Eriksson reached the coast of America centuries before Columbus reached Hispaniola in 1492, but the first-ever European to have reached America might have been the Irish saint Brendan of Clonfert. The navigator's tales are recounted in Irish myth, and contain strong indications that his quest to find the 'Isle of the Blessed' made him actually reach what is now North America as early as the 6th century. Historical evidence of this is thin, but British explorer Tim Severin proved in 1978 that it would indeed have been possible to reach the Americas with 6th century naval technology, recreating and documenting the journey in what he called 'The Brendan Voyage'.2 points

I once witnessed someone asking for Kölsch at a famous "Fortuna Kiosk". The owner just told him in a condescending tone that he needs to drive 40 km's further south if he wants to have that.1 point

The hearing today is absolutely mental. It wasnt planned originally and I see why this was put in. White House Aide to Mark Meadows (Orangutans chief of staff) testified in person about everything surrounding the white house and the events of January 6th. No wonder the retrumplicans keep downplaying the day and the committee there is literal 0 defence to what occurred otherwise. I would love to see the testimony of Pat Cipollone (white house counsel for the former president) it seems like hes in the middle of many of the testimonys and I can see why he hasnt complied so far but man what a story he would have to tell.1 point

Putin was an average rank intelligence officer his political career was bolstered by the Chechnyan War which was triggered after the Moscow bombings in 99. Largely believed that Putin orchestrated the attacks himself.1 point

Milan and Como are different class. It just kept delivering, something different each day. Missus and I love learning of the history of the places we visit and Milan has it in abundance. Como's views are just unreal. City and location that keeps on giving. Duomo Cathedral - the size of this historical building is ridiculous. And then the city-wide views from the rooftop are sensational. Aerial view if Lake Como after taking a cable car up one or the mountains. Again, the views of Northern Italy all the way to the Swiss border are just something else: San Siro - couldn't go to Milan and not visit here! Shame it's due to be knocked down, but to be honest there's all the history of it but not much else to say once you're within it. The museums are great. Plenty of memorabilia accumulated. Navigli - this is one of the canals running through this section of Milan and this small region. Lovely view up and down the canals. Can tell why its a popular spot for tourists. Overall, Milan is a beautiful city with so much to offer. A bit on the expensive side but not extortionate. The food is delicious. Freshness and authentic in equal measure. Only 2hrs from UK so typically easy to get to. Would seriously recommend! Above is just a selection of photos, too. Out of a few hundred taken, hard to narrow down!1 point

Haha I legit asked my missus which top I should be when I visit San Siro. She said she'll decide what looks best when we go If I had a preference in general, it'd be AC. Only just. Mainly because of the nostalgic 90s era looking back. Both clubs along with Juve, Fiorentina, Parma etc were iconic. So many quality players amongst their squads in that generation going into the 00s.1 point

Yeah if I were you, I wouldn't watch it. It's just the tale of an egotistical man-child showing United (and now the world) how much of an irritating twat he really is. It's insane if he thinks it makes him look any better PR-wise. It makes Mourinho look completely vindicated - it's like he is on a mission to prove Mourinho was absolutely right about him. Also the complete lack of respect it shows towards your club and your fans is kind of mental considering he's made millions off the back of not even coming close to performing near expectation for years. And then the club makes him a massive offer despite him looking like dogshit for years... and he turns it down as a "nothing" offer. He was lucky the club was entertaining keeping him beyond his contract in the first place... let alone offering him that insane amount. You can tell he's a dumb cunt without even watching it though. He named it Pogmentary instead of Pogumentary. Smh. At least as a fan of a club that isn't United (and in fact, a massive rival of yours)... there's some entertainment value in watching this overrated dickhead act like the overrated dickhead he is. But if I were you watching it, I'd probably just be furious the whole time. He's probably made you angry enough, no use wasting that energy mate - it's not worth your time. Just know that it makes him look terrible. It is genuinely awful PR, I am legitimately surprised it's something he's actually put out there. If I'm Juve, or any club that's considering making him an offer, I'd have changed my mind just based off the show.1 point

I see Van Gaal has apparently told Timber he can’t play for Netherlands if he’s not a regular starter for United. Bergwijn and Ake would argue differently you giraffe necked cunt.1 point

Kick off. It turns out Nelson Piquet used a racial slur while talking about Lewis Hamilton's collision with Verstappen at Silverstone on a podcast a few months ago. It has just come to light.0 points
