AZ Alkmaar 2-1 TwenteRound-up
A time of season where titles are won and lost, races for Europe are coming to a head and relegations are suffered. Still time for a derby here and there, and a feisty one in Melbourne to predict for as part of this week. Championship came to a conclusion too with the first two games, and in Women's football Man City lost the chance to get one step closer to the title. As for the rankings, they've been swapping all season and despite not being next to each other in the table, @Bluebird Hewitt and @Viva la FCB swapped again. Mainly thanks for the former's 3 Perfect Scores to get 19 points and go up into 3rd to form a late challenge to @CaaC (John) in 2nd place.
@Rucksackfranzose expertly predicted a 3-2 score-line in favour of Hannover to get a Prediction of the Week on the way to getting the 2nd-highest points tally of the week.

Norris in 1st just as Sargent/Magnussen crash.
Safety car out which is a bonus for Norris.
Why does the SC come out ahead of Verstappen? Force of habit ?!

Perez false start?
Got away with it but it did look incredibly dangerous. Could have t-boned Verstappen or Sainz but somehow found the gap between the two!

Tense games in relegation battles in both divisions for the latest games.
One goal in Game 129 and there were no winners for the 40th-minute first (and only) goal.
Game 130 had a first goal in the 17th minute though:

@Rucksackfranzose climbs two places and is now joint with two other players on 15 points. Meanwhile, @6666 extends his lead at the right time - can he hold on until the end of the season?

What a win for Bochum!

Hilarious. According to "vibes" over the past couple of days, Susan Hall was actually going to run Sadiq Khan close in London and maybe actually sneak a win. Then after the actual counting, Khan wins a third term with his greatest margin yet. Then later in the day Labour win the West Midlands mayoralty ahead of relatively popular Tory incumbent Andy Street. Days of conservative-leaning columnists pontificating about Labour needing to do more to win a majority at the next general election, up in smoke.
Conclusions from these local elections. Tory disaster. Labour lose some lefty votes to Greens and Independents but overall on course for a landslide majority at the general election. Genuinely going to see their seat count into the 400s and the Tories below 200.
Makes me laugh when Tories talk about voter apathy as if that only works against one side. Well, they're also staying at home not voting for you, either...

Two no-shows this time. We haven't managed all ten people predicting for 4 races in a row. Predictions were posted on Tuesday morning so I tried .
What's the plans for my team...

Aaaand it's back to reality for Danny Ric. P18 and out in Q1.
End up last as well due to the 3-place grid penalty.

Definitely will deserved. So happy for them that they saw it through. 195 pts in 2 seasons is insane.

Birmingham must be gutted. Win but so do all the other sides above them
Oh well!

Brilliant from Adebayo. Too strong for Young. Letting a forward chest it when you're literally man-marking him is bad defending though.

Dumb Luton defender is dumb.

Lots of high scores leading into the final few weeks of the season! A very high one from @CaaC (John), who amassed 24 points to go up above @Lucas, and @Rucksackfranzose also climbed 1 place despite only scoring 7pts.
Myself and @Storts swap places once again, and just above us @Dan got a Prediction of the Week for being the only one to predict the 1-1 draw between Man Utd & Burnley. And just above him, @Redcanuck scored the 2nd highest of the week with 19 points, and is now just shy of 500 points, a mark that @6666 did surpass.

Tories taking a pounding in some of the local elections.
About time Sunak calls a general election. It's just pure negligence now.

Superb from Lando. Delighted he could get his first win! Smashed it out the park considering the gap he created to Verstappen.
McLaren were desperate for Piastri not to mess up and cause a SC
