Mpache Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 (edited) 6 new cases in Peru. We are at 28 now. Vizcarra says there are 9 new cases but we were at 22 yesterday. You can tell he's been in Scotland recently. Edited March 13, 2020 by Inti Brian Quote
El Profesor Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Why is it so tiresome to live in a country governed by a dangerous demagogue? Earlier this morning, Eduardo Bolsonaro, the president's son, told several media outlets that the president had tested positive. The press reported it. One hour later, president Bolsonaro announced he had tested negative and that the press was lying all along and spreading rumours about him, despite the fact those rumours were started by the president entourage. He does that ALL the time in order to discredit the free press. 3 Quote

So who knows? When it comes to Bolsonaro, it's difficult to tell what the truth is. Quote

Looking to be announced that games will be suspended for a month. Also, I'm curious as to what the EU have done to try and contain the spread. Haven't heard a peep from them. We closed every school under EU recommendation. Our own disease experts actually advised otherwise but our PM said yesterday he trusted EU's directive in this. Quote

El Profesor Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 This is terrible news. First confirmed cases of coronavirus in Venezuela. An already fragile population and a health system in total collapse. Hopefully it can be contained, because if it's widespread Venezuela won't be able to cope with It. 1 Quote
