Absolutely shameless.

And then there's the video circulating of an old man being pushed over by the cops, falling backwards, starts bleeding from his ear and they just walk past him :what:

Some racist old bint on Facebook replied to a George Floyd article on one of the local groups saying there's been 'blatant racism shown against the police' after the protests here in UK xD

Both the left and right are a stain on the country to be honest. They entice hate and create bigger problems than those already present.

Your non/lesser political people all get on and don't give a fuck in this country in reality and it's one of the most open countries in the world with equal opportunities for all, unless you're poor, but poverty can affect all races equally here. Not a perfect country, but massively more progressive than most, especially the USA, where it's the most racially segregated and separated country in the world.

Unfortunately the country is dragged down by a minority of political nut jobs who want to create unrest all the time.

Is it sad that I looked at the image and wondered why assassinating milk would affect the stock market?

It's probably better than drawing the conclusion that murdering black men is good for the economy, which is the only nugget I can glean from this seriously weird combination of things on a graph.

Given this issue pushed Covid off the front pages around the world it probably should have had it's own thread weeks ago.

So, let me get this straight, she's justifying the rioting & looting because of the wage gap between African Americans and the rest of the other demographics?

Would she, in turn, justify the rioting and looting of small businesses owned by African Americans? O.o

Priti Patel called it absolutely disgraceful that they pulled down that slave trader's statue yesterday.

A spokesperson for Boris Johnson was also asked today whether he was unequivocally opposed to statues celebrating figures linked to slavery and he was unwilling to commit to that point of view.

This government is yet to condemn Donald Trump's words and actions over the past few weeks, including his tear gassing of innocent protesters outside the White House.

YouGov ran a poll today about the statue. 13% of people said it was correct that it be pulled down and that Sunday's actions were justified. 40% said that the statue should have come down but they should have done it through the proper channels. I wonder how many of these people are aware (I certainly wasn't) that the people of Bristol have been trying to do so for years, and managed to get the (Conservative) council to agree to add a plaque next to the statue explaining the man's history but it fell through because they didn't have the stomach to include how many children were killed while his company was ferrying them across the sea. Most concerningly, 33% think the statue should be left to stand.

YouGov's polling is usually pretty good for being a representative sample. Make of the above statements what you will.

The policing protocol seems to be batshit crazy in America. What's with trying to get through every situation as quickly as possible and escalating every situation to its conclusion with no care of what that conclusion is? What's with 4 or 5 people jumping on to someone that's down and not a threat? That's not a case of "one bad apple". That's shit policing standards.

They are policing in a country that believes all of those people being arrested should be allowed to own (and may own and be carrying) many dangerous weapons.
