Nonsense though to even suggest he should be on a worst managers list. Can't be bothered to have another pointless wenger debate it is getting very boring
Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 17, 2017 Subscriber Posted October 17, 2017 Not having Shakespeare in this category when he actually won more than he lost.
Spike Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Wenger was once amongst the best managers in the world. Bloody hell, it isn't always black and white. Things change.
Panna King Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Ruud Gullit at Newcastle, les Reid, Glen Roeder.
Honey Honey Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I liked Glenn Roeder, got us into Europe. Obviously wasn't good enough in the long run. I'm slightly bias toward managers who are thoroughly decent blokes though. There's a lot of shit heads out there.
Panna King Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Roy Keane was deadful in the premier league but good in Championship. Remi Garde was awful and Santini at Spurs.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 17, 2017 Subscriber Posted October 17, 2017 Paul Hart surely is one of the worst. Pretty sure he was bottom two years running with different clubs.
Lucas Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Egil Olsson is definitely one for me. Completely flopped at Wimbledon. He just didn't get what the club were about and sadly, contributed heavily to their downfall. I actually miss Old School Wimbledon. They had a lot of heart and character.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 17, 2017 Subscriber Posted October 17, 2017 Avram Grant though I'm sure he was mentioned multiple times earlier in the thread.
Rafa Beneathus Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Laughing at this thread, some people really have been lucky as fuck to get a top flight managers job. What about the current England manager? Paul Jewell? Roy Keane? There are far worse but just a few names.
Guest Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Not sure about jewell because he kept Bradford up did ok at wigan and inherited tha Derby side. Egil Olsen is a good choice
Spike Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Tim Sherwood coached Spurs for a spell didnt he? EDIT: fucks sake I had posted that already in this thread

I think he only managed Pompey for half a season when they were in freefall. Avram Grant got back to back relegations after but at the same time was respected at Pompey. Think they're both harsh shouts for the worst of all time. 14 hours ago, VanPaddy said: Roy Keane was deadful in the premier league but good in Championship. Hes always one of the first names i think. Him and those bloody wellies. To be fair the club were in financial freefall before that and had began the transition from The Crazy Gang to The Wombles before that. The writing was on the wall for about two years before their relegation. He didn't help the situation at all mind.

6666 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Juande Ramos and Phil Scolari were decent managers that turned out to be hopeless in England.
Honey Honey Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Claudio Ranieri, couldn't win the league with Chelsea despite spending fortunes, choked in the Champions League against a shit team and above all else according to those in the know on here he was going to get Leicester relegated
Cicero Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Yeah Grant faired a lot better than the shite AVB and Scolari were. Essien at RB still does my head in though

I'm happy to be proven wrong on Hart, was just something I remember thinking at the time aged about 13 Peter Reid's another I think, he was doing abysmally two years on the spin with different clubs I'm sure. Remi Garde is a shout. Disaster. Although in his defence look at the state of Villa.

His CV wouldn't get him the QPR job.
