Cicero Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 I’d like an explanation as to why that wasn’t a penalty
DeadLinesman Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Surely he went through the man? Didn’t see a touch on the ball at all, it went off the Fulham player. Fucking laughable Carragher defending that.
Lucas Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 The referee has bottled getting a bashing from Klopp. If someone like Sheffield United did that, it's a penalty.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 13, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 13, 2020 I think it was a penalty but it wasn't clear and obvious so if that's still a thing I can see why it wasn't given. The VAR obviously thought it was a penalty though as they bothered to check nothing else happened in the build up. Been impressed by Fulham so far.
Storts Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 How’s he got away with that?! Blatant pen kicks his foot first knocking off balance. Carra on comms for Liverpool is nauseating

Looked like a pen from one angle and like he got the ball on the other. On the view from behind, you obviously can’t tell. That side angle though was a clear penalty. He clearly kicks the players leg into the ball.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 13, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 13, 2020 I have just about had a belly full of Carragher and Neville commentating on their own clubs. They're both decent pundits, but with Carragher you always get the impression he's commentating on Liverpool more than the match itself. Neville does a better job of hiding it but there's a similar thing going on there. They're both too close to concentrate on commentating properly, both get wound up when things don't go well for their old side. Fulham lead, well deserved. Think they'll check the push from the Fulham player in the build up though.
Rick Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Is Chelsea losing and Spurs dropping points not enough motivation for this side? This has been absolutely woeful.
Administrator Stan Posted December 13, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 13, 2020 Go on Fulham!
Cicero Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Clear shove on Salah but that penalty should’ve stood.

El Profesor Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 On the non-called penalty, I think the referee considered that the Fulham slipped and this is what caused his fall, not Fabinho´s contact. Has to be it, right?

Administrator Stan Posted December 13, 2020 Author Administrator Posted December 13, 2020 Okay evened up, Liverpool should have had a penalty.
Dave Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Cant remember the last time I watched a game of football and thought both teams should have had a penalty.
Cicero Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 The long balls are butchering Liverpool. Reuben Loftus-Cheek also looks like he’s gained some confidence finally.
Lucas Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Not that the young Irish lad did anything wrong, but if Alisson wasn't between the sticks tonight, it could easily be 3 and similar Aston Villa vibes. He's been top drawer.
Rick Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Seen us getting more of a hold of the game in the last ten minutes. More of that second half please. Is Keita available off the bench?
LFCMike Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 No review of the incident with Mane right at the end of the half? For 35-40 minutes we've been awful. Starting to get into it now though
