Cicero Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 James is out but I think everyone is available. Failure to get 3 points here with the amount of players City are missing is inexcusable.
Happy Blue Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Think this will get called off, 8 players and as many staff in isolation now, maybe more tomorrow, waiting on tests

Azeem Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 First one to get booked in the second half will win
Lucas Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Interesting that you've dropped the 'big' striker in Giroud and/or Abraham for Werner to play centrally.

Happy Blue Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 City have a strong team today, Aguero, Mahrez, Fernandinho on the bench Man City XI: Steffen, Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Foden, Bernardo, Sterling 4-2-3-1

To be fair I can actually get using Werner against a high line, even though overall Giroud is the better player. Still, big pressure on him - even moreso since he likely will get one or two good chances. One way or another he could be the decisive player.
Cicero Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Isn’t just Werner. It’s everyone. Season defining fixture given the circumstances.

It felt to me like Lampard is thinking he has Pulisic and Ziyech together, a luxury he's not been used to this season and it might just play a tune out of Werner. He's desperate to get him going.
Rick Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 City having an injury crisis yet the only player that looks out of place is the keeper.
Redcanuck Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 That could have easily been a penalty, other tackles like it have been given. Looked like a Werner was right on the line and didn't look like there was contact with the ball.
Burning Gold Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 I think it's just outside the box, but City have definitely got away with one there because it should be a free kick and a booking
Rick Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Poor from Chelsea, Thiago Silva got turned far too easily by Gundogan. And there’s another. Fucking hell Chelsea with this awful. Agree with Mike, this keeper is naff an all.
DeadLinesman Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Great goal by Gundogan. Foden manages to have a shitter haircut than me. And I’m bald.
DeadLinesman Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Just now, LFCMike said: That Mendy isn't great either is he Got a hand to it tbf. Oh fuck off Foden
