Tears from Man Utd players and fans rejuvenate me

I love to win against rivals and opponents. Hate to see them cry though, because in the end, we're all human beings with our own stories and burdens.

Never took you as a person who takes joy out of another person being sad.

I can be a heartless son of a gun sometimes.

Plus it's Bruno Fernandes.

Aside from the above deepness, how great was it seeing the Villarreal fans celebrating and being able to watch that in the end? Enjoy their celebrations and jubilation.

I love seeing people happy

Spanish clubs vs English clubs in finals

Nowadays it's weird to think Fulham and Middlesbrough played European finals this century.

Very!

And that Wigan are more recent FA Cup winners than a lot more bigger clubs - Liverpool and Spurs to name a couple.

I remember that Fulham run to the final though. Epic comeback against Juve in the knockouts as well.

I wonder if we'll see anything from Rio about Ole still being at the wheel? Been driving that car a long time now hasn't he...

Also, congrats to Juan Foyth and Etienne Capoue, who now become the 88th and 89th players to win a trophy as a result of departing Spurs, since they last won one.

Over to you, Harry.

I wish they'd stop being so arrogant. This isn't the Man Utd of old.

The top 4 in Spain all accrued more points than Man Utd did this season, so it’s a bit of a poor argument to talk about its weakness because Barce or Real didn’t win it. There were still 4 teams in it good enough to hit high points tally. The Premier League on the other hand has been abysmal and it’s not often a team finishes with 74 points in 2nd place, let alone 3rd and 4th finishing on below 70.

But to some degree he is right in that it is pretty poor on the whole that United didn’t win this when you look at the transfer fees and the wages they have had to pay for their players. But that is obviously not only specific to Man Utd.

BT at their absolute worst again tonight. They really are appalling at some of their coverage. They really let themselves down as they do some stuff really well.

Literally get one of the pundits who watch La Liga on the panel. It's fucking boring to listen to. "Villarreal weren't very exciting against the far more expensive Arsenal side they beat over two legs, so obviously they're absolute fodder for trophyless Solskjaer."
