Administrator Stan Posted June 19, 2021 Author Administrator Posted June 19, 2021 Gosens is fucking superb. Fully deserved goal.
Administrator Stan Posted June 19, 2021 Author Administrator Posted June 19, 2021 I feel sorry for Low's fingers tonight.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted June 19, 2021 Subscriber Posted June 19, 2021 Excellent again. Portugal just have no answer for Germany's shape.
Whiskey Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Nelson Semedo is absolutely atrocious. Portugal are in trouble here too, if they lose to France they have just 3pts, and their GD (which was good after Hungary) is suddenly minus.

Cicero Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Gosens would be a quality signing for Leicester. Could help them get 5th again.

It feels a bit strange to start both if the strategy is to counter. Rafa Silva could be better on the right but like I said in the Hungary thread he's not exactly consistent. Bruno is too big of a name to not start even if he's mostly invisible.
Michael Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Renato Sanches was unlucky with that effort which hit the post.

El Profesor Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 The beginning of this Euro is showing how good Serie A is. This Gosens performance being the highlight of it. Italian football had a rough stretch, especially immediately after Calciopoli, but the level of coaching and the development of players have improved a lot. It's not the powerhouse of the 90s, but it's a competitive and strong league. Clubs have learnt how to navigate the market with less money. Spanish clubs should take notes.
Michael Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Germany have been excellent today, they need to keep up this level of performance all the way through the competition.
Administrator Stan Posted June 19, 2021 Author Administrator Posted June 19, 2021 Best game of the Euros so far. Group shaped up nicely for Wednesday's deciders.
Moderator Tommy Posted June 19, 2021 Moderator Posted June 19, 2021 Told you we'd win this. Never understood what you lot are on about. Never underestimate us again, silly boys.
Machado Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Different game with Renato Sanches in the pitch. Should have started. We end the game with 0 yellow cards. Talk about a mental block. Germany are like a boogeyman for us. The lack of agressiveness without the ball for maybe 60 minutes was not normal.
Whiskey Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Semedo at fault for the final two goals, not much that could be done about the first two. Not really convinced about Germany yet, despite the scoreline. I think any team would have done well with defending like that from the away side, plus it could have been a much different scenario if Sanches' wonder strike had nicked in.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted June 19, 2021 Subscriber Posted June 19, 2021 Semedo really shouldn't be starting any games for Portugal honestly. Anytime you watch him his ability to carry the ball up is what lets everyone that is trying to participate in the attack down.
