Rant coming up so don't read if you don't want...

People were complaining about the "heat wave" we had over a month ago which lasted all of two weeks. Now we've had three weeks of bloody rain and coldish weather. Right in the middle of what are in the rest of the continent supppsed to be the hottest months of the year.

This is literally the toilet of Europe... What it doesn't piss at this time of year anywhere else, here it's discharging its waste upon us. It makes me sick and is extremely depressing.

Yeah mate, I came in here to moan about the weather and saw your post. Where is summer this year? I know it's never decent for long enough in the UK and people would be right to question my expectations but fuck me the last few weeks at times have been like a random dark day in January or something. We had a decent June but still.

The British love talking about the weather so I'm just fulfilling that duty. I love the heat personally.

With or without humidity?

Monday: Book non refundable flights to Ibiza and book the hotel, also on refundable, for 4 nights on the 22nd August.

Wednesday: Break my wrist at work, informed I am going to need screws put in.

Got zero luck whatsoever me like.

Bummer mate. Still going to go? On the plus side when they put the screws in you can ask them to tighten the ones in your head.

Find out Tuesday, depends when the op is whether I go or not. Don't fancy flying home from there on a comedown knowing I have a stint in hospital coming up.

Playing head and volley on me break at work, was in goal and saved a powerful shot. Both of my right limbs will contain metal when the surgery happens.

Wow, imagine if that had hit someone on their balls, could have sterilized the poor bastard. For real i have never heard of something like that happening to someone, the strangest of things happen to you and disaster seems to follow you wherever you go. xD

I know mate. Didn't help that I was at the gym on the same night training my biceps and shoulders - overheading pressing with a broken wrist.

That festival was good but honestly, going out around blackpool after it until about 6:30am was the highlight for me, we ended up in some club and it was banging as fuck. It rolled back the years ans I was raving my tits off on the stage like a madman until the music stopped and lights suddenly came on. I've seriously not gone all out like that in a long time but I enjoyed it.

How long have you been in Canada? A month? Feels like forever.

Hope you've enjoyed yourself :).

Yeah, a month. Not really what I wanted but my parents really wanted me to visit for more than 2 weeks, so much to my disliking I accepted.

The first day back is going to be a bit shit, as I arrive at 3 AM and have the first day of the semester at 8. Other than that, I am really looking forward to going back home. I also have a new job that involves sports journalism, so I'm looking forward to that,

So my missus works in recruitment and for sponsorship in Australia it's essentially a golden ticket. She's been getting on really well in her job (about 2-3 weeks in), impressed everyone etc and her manager has mentioned there maybe a chance of a promotion soon which would mean sponsorship.

So in not so long I could well be living out here permanently, or at least for the foreseeable future. Fucking mental.

Caffeine wasn't considered addictive until Man drank coffee out of one of those mugs.

As I mentioned in here last week I was told I had broken my arm and needed surgery on it.

I went to see the specialist on Tuesday to talk about the surgery etc. when I was told that the break in my arm isn't new and has been there for months if not years. Strangely enough I went to hospital in 2012 with a suspected broken arm and was told that the x Ray showed no break and it was fine.

So because of the length of time my arm is now broken permanently and cannot be fixed, he told me that one day my wrist movement will basically stop. I have had trouble with it over the last few years and in a lot of pain when lifting weights etc and now I know why.

Mad to think someone is so incompetent at their job. Useless dopey cunts.

Wow, sucks mate. Really shows you shouldn't take one's opinion as the absolute truth, that's why it's always advisable to gather as many different opinions as you can regarding health issues, specially when in doubt. When you went to the hospital in 2012 did you had arm pain?, did it still hurt you over all those years after you went?, if so, shoulda really went to another doc mate.

Maybe get a second opinion on this issue? Seeing as you were fucked the first time you cannot be too careful.

Yeah you're all correct. I went as I done exactly what I done last week - injured it playing football. I have had limited movement and have been in quite a bit pain at times as well. Going to look at legal action and looking at similar cases people have been awarded some big amounts and theirs have been fixable. We shall see. Would rather have a fully functioning arm than that though.
