Bluewolf 5,991
Arsenal did well there considering... reminded me a bit of how it went for you when we went down to 10 against you in the league...
Waylander 113
Yeah, fair play to Arsenal gives them the advantage though would not be surprised to see Liverpool triumph.

Fucking awful performance and it’ll be the same at the weekend and again next week. Trent & Robbo should have both been hooked early on, they were as bad as anybody today. Williams looked decent when he came on. Thought Robertson was decent. Apart from his corners like I'd still fancy us in the second leg when they'll have to open up a bit more. Big improvement needed Sunday and Thursday though.
Rick 1,887
Milner can’t start in a midfield with Fabinho & Henderson ever again either, there’s just no creativity. You need Jones in there for the time being until Thiago is fit. Why he wasn’t changed at half time is beyond me, comes off after wasting 15 minutes of the second half.

Stan 15,193
Expected more from Liverpool given the starting line up was strong and Arsenal went down to 10. Which games are they without Salah, Keita and Mane for?

Lucas 3,184
I thought Liverpool were way too predictable tonight. There didn't seem to be enough variety to their play. Made it far too easy for Arsenal to stay compact and soak it up. In a weird way, I think the way the game panned out, they could have done with having an option like Origi, some physicality/aerial presence in the box so Liverpool could get those first time crosses in more. It seemed they were bit reluctant at time to fling it in early. Sometimes the simple option can be the most effective. Credit to Arsenal, they are right in this tie. You'd arguably make them slight favourites now.

SirBalon 2,648
Slowly but surely the steps are all in the right direction. It’s creates a hell of a lot of pride watching the methods being used to become competitive again. Much more than using the cheque book. It forces you to offer more patience and enjoy the small steps forward. It could’ve ended worse tonight with bad luck. But this time it didn’t and it’ll add more confidence to these kids.
LFCMike 2,695
Henderson and Milner have been poor for weeks. Not sure how Henderson survived the 90. I wouldn't have been against them both coming off at half time for Jones and Chamberlain. The majority of the game was being played in Arsenal's half so we might as well have gone with two players who had more chance of hurting them. It's obviously what he's being told to do but I don't like TAA coming so narrow in games like that. When you're up against a side that's just defending the width of the 18 yard box you need to go outside them. Williams did a little bit of that when he came on. Put a good ball in across the 6 yard box in fact but no fucker was on the end of it. If we'd have started doing that earlier one of them would have probably come off. 6666 1,078
No real balance in midfield without Xhaka or Partey in the XI. Very forward thinking midfield which is the last thing you want against Liverpool. The bench is extremely weak. Should've been awarded the first leg as a 3-0 win and with last week's draw that should've been enough for us to get through. Unfortunately with Liverpool's cheating, they'll probably get through. Smiley Culture 1,649
When does protecting the integrity of a competition matter and when doesn’t it? It was the go to phrase when these two attempted to join the Super League but no one’s arsed it’s the League Cup or Premier League games the integrity was compromised by refusing to play games. Anyway, hope someone finds a way both teams can lose.

Stan 15,193
Lacazette can be really useless at times. Gives off a lazy and bored persona and vibe. There was a time Saka had the ball, retained possession, and Lacazette was just ambling back in an offside position. Where's the work ethic and effort?
