Y tho. Their 3rd choice was doing a fine job

I'm just glad he didn't go to Bayern as a Neuer back-up.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted July 5, 2017 Subscriber Posted July 5, 2017 Not that SportBild is reliable but they are claiming we've agreed to terms with Goretzka on a free transfer next summer. We've tracked him since his Bochum days so it does make sense in that regard, well see. He had a whale of a tourne, I have liked him more and more over the last few years.
SchalkeUK Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Not only you, but Konrad G is also convinced that the deal will be done! Not sure who Bayern will let go to let Leon play as a regular. Perhaps some form of swap might be available prior to June....
nudge Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Read a short article on him in yesterday's kicker, looks like quite a talented goalie. Supposed to be Hertha's 3rd keeper and play in reserves.

DNA Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Just goes to show nobody was really interested in him, seemed like a real lack of demand and now Bayern are taking a less risky punt on him by signing via this method.
6666 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 His great World Cup got him his move to Real Madrid as he wasn't actually that consistent at Monaco. His performance at the World Cup was more a surprise than what was expected. Still a quality player on his day and in a side that will dominate possession and play less of a direct style than Real Madrid he should, in theory, do better.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted July 11, 2017 Subscriber Posted July 11, 2017 With the Douglas Costa deal nearly done and Gnabry going on loan there was going to be another signing. Im ok with it, we really lacked creativity in attack and with a loan and purchase option theres really no downside to this. Moneywise we are essentially swapping Douglas Costa for James, I would do that everyday of the year.
nudge Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Wow, now this is really unexpected, or did I miss anything?
Moderator Tommy Posted July 13, 2017 Author Moderator Posted July 13, 2017 Nope, it came out of nowhere.
God is Haaland Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I blame Sven Michel that useless sack of shit and retard.
SchalkeUK Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Contract ran out at end of June and finally confirmed that AC Milan have lost their marbles and signed Choupo-Moting. That's enough!
TrstnFCB Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Apparently Frankfurt wanted to be the dumbasses to bring back the Prince's drama to the league. God help them.
