Not that SportBild is reliable but they are claiming we've agreed to terms with Goretzka on a free transfer next summer. We've tracked him since his Bochum days so it does make sense in that regard, well see. He had a whale of a tourne, I have liked him more and more over the last few years.

Not only you, but Konrad G is also convinced that the deal will be done!  Not sure who Bayern will let go to let Leon play as a regular.  Perhaps some form of swap might be available prior to June....

Read a short article on him in yesterday's kicker, looks like quite a talented goalie. Supposed to be Hertha's 3rd keeper and play in reserves.

If that was a Premier League club we'd have to pay £70m up front lol

4 minutes ago, True Bender said:

How much  did bayern pay?

He comes on a 2 year loan(10m loan fee) with an option to buy for 35 million, apparently.

Just goes to show nobody was really interested in him, seemed like a real lack of demand and now Bayern are taking a less risky punt on him by signing via this method.

His great World Cup got him his move to Real Madrid as he wasn't actually that consistent at Monaco. His performance at the World Cup was more a surprise than what was expected. Still a quality player on his day and in a side that will dominate possession and play less of a direct style than Real Madrid he should, in theory, do better.

With the Douglas Costa deal nearly done and Gnabry going on loan there was going to be another signing. Im ok with it, we really lacked creativity in attack and with a loan and purchase option theres really no downside to this.

Moneywise we are essentially swapping Douglas Costa for James, I would do that everyday of the year.

Wow, now this is really unexpected, or did I miss anything?

Contract ran out at end of June and finally confirmed that AC Milan have lost their marbles and signed Choupo-Moting.:D:banana::congrats::bye::8_laughing: That's enough!

Apparently Frankfurt wanted to be the dumbasses to bring back the Prince's drama to the league. God help them.

Really happy to see one of my fav defenders back in the BL.  Andy Beck is now a Stuttgart player again - where he started and welcome home!  Benny's medical went OK in Italy so that's that!
