I stand by the hair-tug as a red card.

You've exaggerated by saying it's a 'leg-breaker' and a 'kung-fu kick;.

Was it studs on the knee, or just the boot making contact with De Bruyne's knee. If it's studs, you'd see De Bruyne in far more pain than just getting up barely moments after the challenge.

You are correct. Kung Fu kick that targets the knee is a standing side kick. How do I know? I  have a blackbelt in google.

Look at how far he is off the ground.

It's a kung fu kick. Look at it again. He's two feet off the ground with a straight leg.

His studs make contact with his knee and De Bruyne is in a pain, you can see him limping heavily. He should have rolled around, probably!

It's far more of a red card than Romero last week but half the fuss won't be made.

So you want it justified by De Bruyne rolling around even more and feigning a serious injury?

It's a straight red that mate, not even debatable

Fantastic performance and a great game.

Went toe-to-toe with the best side in the world.

Now this is when we lose to Tranmere on Wednesday in the cup.

It is a bittersweet result,  at 3-1 should consolidate and become tighter,  looked to be in neutral after getting the third and got caught out.   It does feel like two points dropped rather than one gained.    Beyond that a point against city is "technically" a good result.

A result and performance we can take pride and confidence from. As opposed to the usual we can't compete and it was just a free hit anyway line that usually gets brought out.

It was a decent game, Haaland was sexy at times, all's right with the world B| ..cant wait till we are match sharp, maybe Pep should have a pre season next year if he's still here 😂

You're lucky we are not in the Champions League to knock you out this year

Schar much like the game at the end of last season looked uncomfortable against City and had his worse game yet,  the loss of Matt Targett has disrupted things for us,  this with the imaginary player named Jemal Lewis we may need a left back.

Almiron is a frustrating player and probably today shows why we need an upgrade that side,   he missed an absolute sitter but scored a fluky goal,  he can't seem to do "simple" well and its problematic.

You need to learn how to clean your money first before you can win England's very own El Cashico ;)

Pleased Newcastle got a point, they played some good football and Haaland could have won it late on.

Couldn't make up my mind on the Trippier card.

No doubt about a foul from one angle looks just like a tap from another looks high and out of control.

Surprised to see the ref change his mind, the pundits thought VAR changed his mind.

Notice today none of the EPL teams expected to win, won.
