Someone asked this on Facebook, I can remember the last thing at night before midnight the National Anthem coming on with God Save The Queen, then the TV would cut off and end up with white buzzing lines, you don't hear that anymore.

In primary school and hearing the milkman leaving the crates of milk outside our classroom door and then the noise of the bottles of milk rattling away when the teacher bought them in and handed the half bottles out with straws for us.

I actually remember hearing the rag and bone man but my mum and dad swear blind I couldn't remember that.

But I swear I lay and heard a horse and cart outside my bedroom window more than a few times.

That whirring sound a rotary phone made when you dialed a number...

All push buttons nowadays, I remember the wife buying an old fashioned phone like that and bloody using it. :D

The noise of the coal man arriving in his truck and tipping bags of coal in our coal bunker.

That dreadful monotone followed by static at the end of a VHS.

I've still got an old video recorder and tapes and it's still in working order, at the end of the tape when winding it fast forward and hearing the loud click when it had finished rewinding. xD
