Premier League 2023/24 Gameweek 32 - 6-7th April 2024

1-0 Villa in what has been a dull game with nothing in it. Shame we didn’t take advantage of the two counter attacks we had earlier in the game but the final ball was missing both times

Hahaha what a come back. Villa didn’t really deserve to be 2-0 up based on gameplay but we defended poorly for both goals, glad we’re back in it.

Gruesome win but we got it. That should be Burnley buried now but Luton coming back to beat Bournemouth is pretty devastating.

If Luton hadn't won I'd have said that's you safe.

Makes it more interesting in the hope Forest drop...

Hopefully a Forest loss tomorrow keeps us 4 points clear of both before the rumoured drop of the second PSR judgement on Monday. 7 points over Luton would have been a nice buffer. Fucking Bournemouth.

A well deserved point. Villa went 2-0 up in a game where it barely looked like they'd score 1 goal, we managed to come back and put ourselves into the lead. Poor defending from crossing again saw Villa back into it at 3-3. The remainder of the game was up and down but very few chances were actually created.

As poor as the defending was today, to go away to Villa Park, without our entire back 4, without our defensive midfielder and club captain, with Toney on the bench for most of it due to injury, with no Schade....and to grab a point is exceptional. 3 points from 3 games in 8 days that being honest very few people would have predicted anything other than 3 losses, great stuff.

Now we have a week off, Toney and Mbeumo can push back to full fitness, hopefully Schade will be available again against Sheffield United and who knows, we might even get a first choice defender return. But two massive games to come against Sheffield United at home and Luton away, a must win and a do not lose.

Disappointing to hand control back over to Spurs. Could be a crucial 2 points dropped. When you look at remaining fixtures. It is the defence that's dropped more so than anything. Kamara was doing a very unique role at DM, covering the defence. And for me, we look much better when Konsa is CB, but Cash is out.

On the positive side, Watkins is on 18 goals now. Rogers has an assist & goal in the last 2 games.

Lille q-final either side of Arsenal (a) who have their own European games.

Very unlikely, but considering Luton have Brentford on the 20th, Brentford could get dragged into a late scrap if they aren't careful.

At the same time, Luton play Man City and Brentford play the whipping boys, so expecting the gap to increase.

Was worried about the game but it was comfortable overall.

Been brilliant in 2024. Best team offensively, by far the best team defensively, but those games before the new year still haunts us. Should be running away with the league to be honest.

No idea why Casemiro put that out of play, Diaz clearly feigning the level of pain he was in. Just get on with it, if the opposition want to play a man down then let them do that.

The one thing United manage to do well, and in fairness they do so many things badly you'd expect at least one thing. But their defence when on the back foot manages to stay quite compact, block the route to goal for a shot, get in the way of a cross. They want you to snatch at shots as it gives them a better chance of defending as the attack becomes quite basic.

Liverpool just need to stay composed and hold out for that extra pass instead of shooting straight away all the time, find a way to stretch or move that backline around, and then they'll score.
