Newcastle Ufuckingnited.

Much deserved win, think we will be between 12th and 15th this season and I would be happy with that. If we had an wonder with ambition higher than "happy to survive" I would be very excited, but sadly as long as Ashley is here that won't happen.

Ciaran Clark has been an absolute genius signing and I think Mikel Merino will be regarded as one too.

I bet Mane wished he had our ref. An aerial challenge and Sanches belts Merino in the testicles. Ref didn't book him he laughed at it instead

That was a very good win, Swansea were awful. I expected a defeat too.

I still think we're lacking a lot going forward but if we can carry on beating the teams likely to be at the bottom then that's all we can ask for.

Do you think fat tits will walk after this season?

I hope you're referring to Ashley as fat tits, if so sadly not. Would say "hopefully he comes to his senses" but clearly that isn't going to happen so pointless hoping. Rafa will give it January I think and if he isn't happy will be away in May. I think he loves everything about the club and project other than Ashley/the lack of ambition.

Shame because we won't attract anyone as good as him again. Even as a bloke - through the week he donated money to a local food bank charity.

Apparently James Tarkowski has played well for Burnley since getting his chance after Keane left. I'd love nothing more than him to have a blinder of a season, get sold for an extortionate amount and receive a nice hefty sell on

The chant controversy is silly, don't the Tottenham fans chant Yid Army? The accepted it as they "name". I mean i see why Morata would be unhappy for it, but i doubt it will be stopped now.

Where's the image of Ritchie's high foot against Mawson, Harvey?  9_9

Just further proved my half time point.

Though the media attention on Ritchie is solely because of what happened earlier in a game between poster boy clubs. The pundits wouldn't notice otherwise. They didn't notice a kicking in the bollocks and a few weeks back they didn't notice Kachunga drawing blood when kicking Mbemba in the head 6ft high in one of the live games.

But above everything else the most laughable thing in punditry this weekend is the line "I was worried about Newcastle after watching the Huddersfield game but they were good today" lol wtf? There is next to no real difference in match stats, performance and approach in the Huddersfield game and the one yesterday. One was a 1-0 loss, the other a 1-0 win.

They delude themselves by the hype they create. They were desperate for us to have a crisis and Rafa to walk. They were desperate for Huddersfield to be amazing. So when they narrowly beat us they drummed up those two narratives they had before the game. Yesterday all the pre-match build up was about how this Sanches fella is world class and Bony an amazing signing. Sanches preferred to pass the ball to our players and Bony was invisible. They over egged Swansea and where Swansea are going in their mind so when we narrowly beat them we get hyped up. We must be good to have stopped the mighty Swansea City lol.

The media and pundits in general really struggle at the start of the season. They throw loads of guesses out there with a conviction that suggests these are things that absolutely will happen.

They are the kind of people who play their fantasy football transfer wildcard 2 games into the season.

Seeing as this has got over 5,000 RT's it's probably worth watching the West Ham game tonight...

Won't happen obviously.

All very true. Superbly ended with the last paragraph. The amount of pundits who do this as a full time occupation that wrote Brighton off before this weekend is just embarrassing.

This is so crap xD

Huddersfield finding it incredibly difficult to get out of their own half or have any kind of meaningful possession. But then West Ham aren't creating much despite all the play on Huddersfield's half.

Absolutely balls all going on here, Huddersfield pegged into the final third but there's nothing about West Ham to suggest that that's a problem. If the away side nick a goal then the Hammers are in deep trouble, even though they have Chicharito they look so toothless going forward.

Antonio's been the best of the 3 up front but that's hardly saying much. Kouyate had a great chance to open the scoring but shanked his shot so badly.
