Funnily enough I've not actually felt that cold when going outside. Maybe cos there's no wind-chill factor but it's still quite chilly nevertheless. Uni's closed today and tomorrow so far. Unfortunately a snow-day for a student basically means you just keep doing the same work, but trapped in your house instead of the libray. A decent amount as well, enough for a medium sized snowman... or is it a snow person these days??? can't be sure.. Mate sendt me pictures of no milk, bread, cake and biscuits, with practically no pizzas left either. I weep for the future here at times. About 24 degrees and rainy/cloudy in Auckland but the humidity is keeping things warm. You know you've spent ages out of the UK when 24 degrees isn't considered hot. Someone took a picture of the Grit Trucks at Islington Council parked and covered in snow because they weren't taken out. Seems we don't have the money to use the resources we have!
