6666 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Twice I thought Iran scored, both times ended with disappointment. Correct decision to disallow the goal but Iran are actually decent when attacking.

You can't allow it for penalties which leads to goals and then say it's not allowed to disallow goals that should be ruled out correctly What about the emotion of Spain ?

To be fair, this referee has been in this situation. He's given a handball goal for Peru against Brazil. You make a good point but fuck offside goals. Only limit them to handballs.

Administrator Stan Posted June 20, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 20, 2018 @Blue what about the emotion of the team the disallowed goal is scored against?
Cicero Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Handball that. Blocking Pique from shooting the ball

VAR needs to be very strict on goals, otherwise there will be no emotion in football. its not all about being perfect with calls. I think its been doing a fine job in this world cup, but theres no need for goals being called unless its something like a handball.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted June 20, 2018 Subscriber Posted June 20, 2018 How is that not obstruction? Spain screwed there.

Did you see @Spike the other day?
Administrator Stan Posted June 20, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 20, 2018 @Blue answer my question - what about the emotion of the team that the disallowed goal is scored against? what about the injustice for them?

Did you see @Spike the other day? What was that goal then? The whole bench went to celebrate If it was Cunha's decision though then no complaints.

You can't pick and choose which goals to disallow because of emotion. The right decision was made, that's far more better for the game for me.
