One of the big problems here has been the lack of offensive full backs. Not too sure about Tagliafico as I'm no expert on him, but Mercado is primarily a defensive right back. They are missing that in the attack I think. No one overlapping and supporting the wingers.

Is it just me or does it feel like everytime someone from Argentina gets posession, the whole team further themselves away from the player on the ball? Everytime one of them has the ball, there is no one supporting. The passing stats must be atrocious right now.

First half he was excellent, the ball for Higuain was sensational. This half has been different.
