Honey Honey Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 This is the Spanish version of Allardyce football. A terrible watch. Thank God for that penalty.

Kowabunga Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Silva and Asensio have been present only as meatbags. Iniesta and Aspas could be early substitutions. I expected more speed from the russian team (no Cherysev in the starting 11?), but fair to them, they've sticked to the balls to big guy strategy which could work equally fine.

bozziovai Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 VAR ---- diving for ramos .... c'mon ref var please ...........
Azeem Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Well done Russia. They have been really organised & remained compact even after going 1-0 down. Also shows you Spain’s passing hasn’t been effective at all. Despite having so much of the ball, Spain haven’t created much at all
Azeem Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Though i can see Russian's losing their places in frustation with Spain having so much of the ball

If this Spain team plays with the intensity, spark and invention it can, it would only be a matter of time. Russia are being helped by a poor showing from Spain. Why not try and go for the game and hit Spain when they’re at their weakest? Spain have a history of scoring late since Aragonés and it wouldn’t be surprising to see that happen again. Russia as far as I’m concerned have no way of scoring other than a set piece.
bozziovai Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 @SirBalon --- any inside info regarding the relationship between Ramos and Pique in the spanish camp ?? coz we all know how they are in each other's faces with their clubs ...
The Käiser Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Is that lady on the Spanish side Ramos' aunt or something? She's been on the staff for a decade

Teams playing possession ball but not doing much with it. Other team counters with much better opportunities.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted July 1, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 1, 2018 Spain have been extremely bland here.

Russia haven't got good enough players to set up in a way that won't see them beaten here. They've stopped Spain creating nearly anything in fairness. It's made for a very bland game though.
bozziovai Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 story of the 2nd half. Spain's tactic has been failed 1-2s. Russia when they have the ball give it away in ten seconds or less
