Drinking from the tin, urgh. Put it in a glass you Southern rabble.

No glass on the train mate - don’t trust us with it, not after the incident at Huddersfield last year.

Newcastle fans protesting about Mike Ashley outside of the Selfridges of Sports shops, Sports Direct in the City. One kid pictured protesting while holding a Sports Direct bag and one fella has turned up with a shovel.

Ritchie with a brilliant cross there for Joselu.

What a start! I know we have goal line technology so I must be wrong but it really didn't look to me like that Vertonghen opener crossed the line. Joselu equalises straight away for Newcastle.

The ref’s watched flashed apparently, which must be the goal line technology. I’ve not seen them put up that graphic they usually put up, I’d quite like to see how far it’s crossed the line.

Another great cross, awful defending from both teams so far though

9mm over the line that Vertonghen goal. Maybe Brian will pop by and let us know what it’s like disappointing thousands of people with 9mm.

That Kenedy is pure shite

Most players would be kicking themselves for missing a chance like that.... but doubt he would have the control required to be on target with it..

Great game. Always love to watch the Toon home games... atmosphere aplenty.

Toons making a good go of this...

They’ll take these chances against us no doubt. We never do well up there.

Hardly vintage from Tottenham, but it was never going to be with so many players returning late from the World Cup. The points are what matters at this stage and they got all of them.

Newcastle looked good, but lacked that bit of quality at key times, as well as a bit of luck maybe. Easy to see why their fans would be frustrated after their lack of activity in the summer because a bit of spending could've made a big difference to this team.

Why take Ritchie off for Atsu? I've not seen much of Atsu but today he seemed to be all pace and no brains...whereas Ritchie was dangerous all game. Newcastle should have gotten something from this game.
