Bluewolf Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 If we don't get another before half time to restore that cushion I reckon both Hazard and Zola should come on after the break... 2-2 And there we are showing how frail we are at the back...
Chaaay AFC Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 BT ripping us to shreds, but Chelsea have been all over the place defensively as well.

Absolute nowhere near the level required, can't believe he started here. Wow. Think he got the assist for Mkhitaryan as well. Fuck me. If only we didn't miss those easy chances.

That left side with Alonso and David Luiz is wiiiiiide open. But now the whole Chelsea back line looks dodgy and Kepa in no mans land while Arsenal almost score again.
Cicero Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Every single player for us is guilty for ball watching on every single Arsenal goal and cut back. This is more worrying than the blatant spaces Luiz and Alonso leave.

The Käiser Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Stating the obvious: Arsenal could be up if cashed in those earlier chances although looking second best for most of the game and another missed opportunity
Administrator Stan Posted August 18, 2018 Author Administrator Posted August 18, 2018 They finally scored from that position How are Chelsea not learning though to stick a player in that area!?
Dr. Gonzo Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 How to beat Chelsea: cutbacks from out wide apparently. Pretty fortunate Arsenal keep missing easy chances tbh.

Bluewolf Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 All Arsenal now... lucky not to be another one down..
Lucas Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Who knew a 5th Place playoff would be so exciting!
6666 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Chelsea's full backs have been terrible. Hopefully they continue like this in the 2nd half.
LFCMadLad Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I'm supposed to be going out now but I don't want too This is great
Cicero Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Arsenal should be well ahead. The cutbacks get us everytime and everytime every player watches the ball instead of the open man. Alonso and Luiz having a mare defensively. But we've been saying they need replaced for 18 months so who cares.
Dr. Gonzo Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Weird half, for 25-30 minutes Chelsea looked very comfortable, but even in that timeframe and throughout the half Arsenal creates more clear cut chances and there’s a good argument they’d be ahead on another day. Some absolute sitters missed.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 18, 2018 Subscriber Posted August 18, 2018 Should be about 6-3 to Arsenal at half time .
Chaaay AFC Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Iwobi and Mkhi have to be much better defensively but they have done well going the other way. Need more from Ozil and Auba just needs to hit the target please. Bellerin also needs to buck up his ideas but also needs more support. We have to improve massively defensively, whole team was so poor first half. I'll absolutely take this though, especially after being 2-0 down.
LFCMadLad Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Still think Chelsea will take this eventually. Hazard will destroy that back line.
Cicero Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Annoying really. You learn this shit as a U9. Watch your runner, not the ball. Alonso and Luiz are a disaster and our midfield are the most guilty of ball watching.
