  1. Attendance 'banter' on a website where most people don't go to games. The irony.

  3. I'm obviously hoping you don't and you and City fall off the pace early and we get a bit of a cushion built... because that'd be obviously ideal. But I think you will keep pace with us this year... and so will City. Having seen us piss away golden seasons before, I'm not going to believe we can win it until we win it (if we ever do while I'm alive). City's blip I think is only a major concern because of the own high standards they set for themselves last year. They're still incredibly strong. Your attack is terrifying and you're solid at the back - and I think one of our biggest accomplishments this season was taking 3 points off you, because even with no new additions Spurs look a bit better than last year as well. As Klopp always tells the press though, we're in a good moment... and for as long as it lasts I'm going to enjoy it. We're playing really impressive stuff right now and we've still got half a season to go, but this might be the best Liverpool side I've ever seen in my entire life.

  6. All Evertonians do is boo their players anyway. A few more booing will just make the atmosphere even more shocking.

  7. Absolutely not, why would I be? Piss taking because people can't get to a Premier League football match, whatever their reason may be, is just weird to me. I don't really get it

  13. Ancient stone carvings hidden for 600 years discovered on a tomb in Scottish cathedral Josh Gabbatiss 7 hrs ago © Provided by Independent Digital News & Media Limited Stone carvings that have remained hidden for 600 years have been discovered on the tomb of a medieval bishop in Scotland. Depictions of saint-like figures were revealed on the side facing a wall while conservationists carried out a routine inspection. The tomb, located in Dunkeld Cathedral in Perthshire belongs to the 15th-century Scottish cleric Bishop Cardeny. The unearthing of the stone carvings has shed new light on the history of the site, revealing the tomb has at some point been moved and built into the wall from its original free-standing location. Colin Muir, stone conservator at Historic Environment Scotland (HES) who led the discovery, said: “The discovery of these rare, hidden carvings behind the 15th-century tomb of Bishop Cardeny is very exciting and will enrich our understanding of the history of Dunkeld Cathedral and late medieval stone carving. “This discovery also gives fresh incentive for further research and exploration of the site, as we still don’t know when exactly the tomb was moved, or why. “This discovery also hints that there may still be other obscured areas of detail preserved within the walls behind the tomb.” As further conservation works get underway to protect the fabric of the tomb, Mr. Muir said he hoped this investigation would reveal secrets. “At this stage, we don’t know what, if anything, remains – but it will be fascinating to find out,” he said. Following the discovery of the carvings a second, more in-depth assessment was recently carried out using cutting-edge 3D photogrammetric technology. A detailed 3D model was created by obtaining multiple images using cameras and mirrors, enabling a closer look at the carvings. The site of the cathedral has long been an important ecclesiastical centre, with relics of St Columba brought to Dunkeld from Iona by King Kenneth McAlpin in 849. The tomb was built in 1420 to house Cardeny, who was the cathedral’s longest-serving bishop and was elected to his position in 1399 by Pope Benedict VIII. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/offbeat/ancient-stone-carvings-hidden-for-600-years-discovered-on-tomb-in-scottish-cathedral/ar-BBRtet4

  15. Yeah but we were always playing catch up, they kept putting us on Monday nights. Before our game we were 8 points behind them. They didn’t really give us a sniff bar a brief spell in Feb/March when we had Arsenal and West Ham back to back. People downplay their title win to try and find a way to attack us but they deserve all the credit for their ruthless efficiency in closing it out

  16. No worries. Switch's can be difficult to get deals on as they're selling well. I was lucky last year to get Mario & Rabbids and Mario Odyssey for £300 in the Black Friday sales. I'll keep an eye out and see if there's anything about.

  17. What am I killing myself over? I’m not trying to prove anything, what I’m trying to say is there was no title challenge from anyone post about Feb, Leicester were so strong and we couldn’t get close to them. The point is that we were never top, Arsenal were halfway through the season, but for some reason the narrative has been allowed to developed that we ‘bottled it’ and that it was a ‘two horse race’ when in reality this was just a SKY plot to sell the games and it was always Leicester’s to lose. Which they didn’t. As usual this last point is just a load of crap to be fair. Our ‘achievements’ are praised by some who understand football because quite honestly we’ve done exceptionally well to grow organically and get to the point where we face interrupted the status quo of the Premier League era where yourselves, United and Liverpool plus the oil clubs would dominate the top positions in the league. You can’t have it both ways. On some fronts we have to win a trophy etc. It’s a great failure - yet on the other hand, we haven’t won trophies consistently for such a long time and don’t deserve to be up there. People always try and play this double standards but I think on the whole the neutral appreciates that we have spent a long time building and growing as a team, with a near minimal net spend and a manager that chooses to develop rather than with players. We play good football, with the core of the England squad and have a very likeable manager. On your point about the media, your blinkers seems to always ignore the fact we get an incredibly rough deal from them in terms of coverage. The way they are trying to get Pochettino to Manchester United is disgraceful and they are constantly putting us down on SSN and when they have pundits on.

  19. See this is where you are chatting absolute bollocks, as all Arsenal fans do. We never ‘lost our nerve’ - we just didn’t catch them, ever, they were too good for us and every other team in the league. We weren’t top all season. However after 19 games, who was top...Arsenal football club. You lost your nerve did you second half of the season? Give over.
