Montoya currently leads IMSA Sportscar Championship; still as fast and fearless as ever Mine was always Michael Schumacher. Got into F1 properly because of him; nobody else even comes close.1 point

Hey guys, what was your favorite driver growing up? Mine was Juan Pablo Montoya. He was fearless and really fast.1 point

He's looked very good indeed. You can see some of Mourinho's influence has rubbed off on Lampard. Lampard's always talked about how Mourinho played a big part in helping him become the player he was through man management and psychology (if you like), telling him how he good he was and Mourinho's role helped act as a catalyst for making Frank one of the best midfielders in the world. You can see similarities, Lampard so far has bigged the players up at any opportunity. The rhetoric with Conte and Sarri and the players was 'he's good but needs to improve', Lampard in most cases has just focused on the positives. Even with Kanté Conte and Sarri mentioned that he needed to improve, with Lampard on the other hand, it's been a different approach. I'm not saying one or the other is right but it's interesting to note the difference. Who knows Lampard could finally bring out the best in Barkley but I for one can't help but think it's another false dawn. Let's hope I'm wrong.1 point

This sort of post, comment and voice you have is so so important mate. You are a rarity in today's times mate, people are scared to voice their opinion where questioning where they're from and even where they may descend from through family. They get accused of not being patriotic if they do it but worse still are the cowards that want to cry out loud denouncing the malicious road scoundrels are taking the nation they were either born in as natives or bought up in which is much of the same. Staying silent doesn't help anyone or anything and history has taught us that being brave in the face of unfounded generalised hate will be forever remembered. It may sound epic but it really isn't my friend. By questioning you are being human and using humanity as your weapon against hatred. In that post you have been a true patriot!1 point

Astronomers have discovered a 'super-Earth' just 31 light-years away. But, is it habitable or glacial? N'dea Yancey-Bragg © NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center/Chris Smith This illustration shows one interpretation of what GJ 357 d may be like. A potentially habitable 'super-Earth' has been discovered just 31 light-years away from our solar system, astronomers announced Wednesday. The planet, named GJ 357 d, is about six times larger than Earth and orbits a dwarf sun GJ 357, much smaller than our own, every 55.7 days. The international team of astronomers that discovered the planet said in a news release that it could "provide Earth-like conditions." “With a thick atmosphere, the planet GJ 357 d could maintain liquid water on its surface like Earth, and we could pick out signs of life with telescopes that will soon be online,” Lisa Kaltenegger, the director of the Carl Sagan Institute at Cornell and associate professor in astronomy, said in a statement. “If GJ 357 d were to show signs of life, it would be at the top of everyone’s travel list – and we could answer a 1,000-year-old question on whether we are alone in the cosmos.” Without an atmosphere, the planet would have an equilibrium temperature of 64 degrees below zero, according to NASA, which would make it "more glacial than habitable." While using NASA’s planet-hunting Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) in early 2019, Kaltenegger's team first discovered another planet GJ 357 b, a “hot Earth," orbiting the dwarf sun. The satellite finds other worlds by monitoring the nearest and brightest stars for periodic dips in light. These dips, called transits, suggest a planet may be passing in front of its star. Follow up observations from the ground lead to the discovery of two more planets orbiting the dwarf sun, including the super-Earth. Two of the planets discovered are considered too hot to support life as we know it, but GJ 357 d is in the host star's habitable zone meaning it's not too hot or too cold. Kaltenegger told NBC News that a pair of telescopes that are expected to begin operating in 2021 and 2025 should reveal whether the planet is rocky or has oceans. “This is definitely going to be one of the best targets for these telescopes because it’s so close and so bright,” Kaltenegger told NBC News. “This means we can collect that light and analyze it further to see the chemical composition of the atmosphere, or if we see signs of liquid water or oxygen. The closer the better and the brighter the better, and this one happens to be both.” https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/techandscience/astronomers-have-discovered-a-super-earth-just-31-light-years-away-but-is-it-habitable-or-glacial/ar-AAF9u9j1 point

Still unclear at this point. He wants to come and he's also Kohfeldt's transfer wish so it could still happen as in the end it's only a question of agreeing the transfer fee. I think a lot depends on whether or not we manage to sign Henrichs on a two season loan - if it happens, then I think we'll sign Gregoritsch as well. If not, then the money will probably be invested into defense especially given all the latest injuries.1 point

I'll just leave this here because it DOES belong here. There are some people you just wished would live forever because everything about them was that good.1 point

Well yesterday Kieta looked sharp as fuck despite only just returning to training. Also, Lallana had a really good game sat just in front of the defence. Hoever looked great at RB, could actually be considered as Trents back up?! Oh and what a gem we have on our hands with Elliot! 16 years old and strutting around like he owned the gaff. Actually gave Hendo a right bollocking at one point Could Klopp include a 16 year old in our first team squad? Well he has got balls the size of a house so who knows? Anyway, we finally got a pre season win1 point

Agreed. To be fair, if anything, I see Lewis' having a bit of a confidence issues, and maybe dealing with set-backs growing up. I remember him talking about being bullied, which I can relate to. Maybe that's why he tries to appears so shiny nowadays. But yea, I can relate, but it's also a bit too much. But maybe it's just a bit of a coping mechanism.1 point

Just seen some clips of Harvey Elliot's performance vs Lyon - looks pretty fucking good for a 16 year old kid1 point
