So you have only been together for 5 minutes then... You are still at that stage where your concern for her being upset about something is genuine... At the 5 year mark you still ask if there is a problem but have to start faking the concern... after 10 years+ you do things on purpose to wind her up hoping she won't speak to you...3 points

I find it interesting though how he doesn't have this reputation in any of the other series he's participated. IndyCar, WEC, Dakar; haven't heard a bad word about him from anyone there nor seen examples of his infamous "attitude". Maybe a lot of it is due to F1 surroundings...2 points

Palki Sharma. You're welcome. Add my city Mumbai to that list. Population density plays a huge role. Even when we are sealing areas where cases are appearing, it is not helping matters.2 points

He truly didn't, and he developed a deep hatred for him. I remember an interview with Sebastian where he said: "Well, I wouldn't mind having a coffee and a chat with Fernando, but he doesn't like me for some reason." Vettel clearly admired Fernando but he showed him nothing but hate.1 point

Yeah, but he still has done things in F1 that were utter cuntish though. So I think his personality or well, he ego, is to blame too. Like implying that Germans are only good at skiing.1 point

It's kind of what I was implying. The team atmosphere (and the general atmosphere in the paddock) outside F1 is usually much healthier with less hostility and toxic competition. Especially in WEC or Dakar where it's mostly about the teamwork and not about the individual anyway. If he was such a cunt as portrayed though then one would expect him to struggle in any team, this is definitely not the case so it makes me wonder if it's more specific to the nature of F1 than to Alonso's personality.1 point

Or maybe because he hasn't competed in those for nearly two decades, or because the whole competitive and team atmosphere thing isn't as or pivotal there. Could be though.1 point

I'd say so. It first became clear when Hamilton became a threat to him at McLaren, then he and Briatore had his teammate crash for him at Renault, then he developed an inexplicable hatred for Vettel because he couldn't beat him in the Red Bull, and of course all the moaning during his McLaren days. Not to mention all of his wrong career choices. Later teams seemed to reject him simply because he created a bad atmosphere within the team. Great talent with an unfortunately even greater ego. McLaren now have a much better pairing with Sainz and Norris.1 point

Well apparently it's 14k/day at the moment. Which means there's now 21 days (from tomorrow) to get up to 100k/day...1 point

Don't even need to watch the video to give you my conclusion: Incredible talent hindered by an insufferable character.1 point

Nice to see Welsh Labour break ranks and extend the lockdown. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-52215421 While it's inevitable that the lockdown will be extended regardless, this should be united between the four countries of the UK and not for political brownie points or 'to be the first and for others to follow suit' as they often try to do.1 point

That looks good and faithful to Streets of Rage 2 to some degree (such as the enemies, Axel's special etc). One part I didn't like though is the regenerating health opportunity. I hope the sadist in me can switch that off. Apparently the game also has the pixelated retro characters as well. That's SOR2 Axel for me then.1 point

They should make all toilet paper nowadays with this crisis like army bog roll, it's felt like sandpaper when wiping your arse and rip your arse to threads and soon as the crisis is over with go back to normal bog roll where it is so soft your finger sticks through it and that goes up the back of your arse.1 point

I've realised through this how shit Asda and Sainsbury's are compared to booths. Yes the latter is a smaller business and is a bit more expensive but their shelves are always completely full and the quality of their food is much higher. Booths is closer to me than the others but, until lately, it's not somewhere I've ever shopped too often apart from when buying their hot food on my dinners at work. The quality of fanny who go shopping in there is higher too.1 point

The best thing about Resi 6 was my save being corrupted. I'd already done Leon's part and was in the early stages of Chris's when it happened. Meant I had a reason to never play it again.1 point

If she reads this, hello to you Miss @Harvsky! Apart from @nudge we're all nerdy geeks and all look like this so you have absolutely nothing to worry about as I'm sure this is not @Harvsky's type...1 point

That midfield trio of Gerrard, Alonso and Mascherano will never be bettered. It was just perfect.1 point

God, the worst thing (well, after the death, disease and damage to people's livelihoods) must be the myriad of celebrities trying to cash in on a vague sense of brotherhood, recording horrible, soppy songs and other crap to 'help keep people motivated'. I guess it's a fair trade-off, though, as at least Eurovision was cancelled.1 point

Few videos here: Took a few in camp Nou as people asked me to, but you feel like a bit of a tit taking videos at a footy game, at least I do. Will add aload of pics later, might aswell since I took loads.1 point
