  3. I think a few weeks ago I wanted him to go out on loan. But I would like to see him given the same sort of time Origi got last season, I think he could do more with that time (although I’d like him more central).

  4. I hope we keep Brewster this season as opposed to sending him out on loan (Sheffield United are the current front runners according to Twitter). If we're going to insist upon Origi spending most of his time out wide, and although I think Minamino will come good, he's not exactly hit the ground running, we're left without an option should Firmino go down that can be a reliable option for goals. Of course, Brewster isn't proven at Premier League level yet, but I think with his attacking movement and awareness he offers a different option to our other backup strikers in the sense of being a real poacher. With the increase we've seen in both Salah and Mane's assist productivity, as well as hopefully more consistent minutes for Keita, Brewster could be a real option for us if he gets that high level of productivity behind him.

  5. Healthy people don't wfh to protect themselves. Wfh is to prevent spreading the virus. It's not all about the individuals personal risk. Statistically wfh supresses community spread which aids in lowering the risk of those who cannot wfh. Risk isn't equal so increasing the risk for everyone because of that inequality is self defeating. Phased management using good quality data seems wiser than getting Pret back open tomorrow in central London when fiscal decisions can mitigate issues Pret have. You fill restaurants. Was there a spike? No then open the next thing. Spike? No, open the next thing. Spike? Yes, hold, pause or reverse and so on. Fiscal and monetary policy can be used to allow for that strategy.

  6. Ha, I'd have been up for it if @Tommy was invited, but as he's not, I may have to decline. (I will do this until every single member on the site (apart from a few) are listed in your post)

  7. Someone needs to drive the coach right Nudge.. I am in, never really been a huge fan of coach travel but that can clearly be overlooked for the company... Once we reach our final destination @Carnivore Chris can drop off his erm... parcel and we can split the proceeds from it and then go our separate ways, remember, if one of us goes down no stitching...

  10. Well, tomorrow is the big day for me. I will take part in a multiple hour exam for a certificate that I've been studying for since the beginning of the year. In terms of Cyber Security here in the states, it's the best of the best. Part of me wishes it was this morning so that I can just take it, and be done with it, but I have decided to spend the day reviewing, going for a run, and listening to good music.

  11. That would actually be a very interesting trip and worth the money overall. We could also see which country we get locked down.in when said country has their second wave

  15. We should book the whole bus and make it the ultimate TF365 road trip 20 seats, 15000£ each... We'd probably even get a discount. Who's loaded and wants to finance this?

  19. The Spanish Flu was a catastrophic illness and far more lethal than this disease. Coming right off the back of the first world war, it ravaged an already dehabilitated society but I'm not sure society stopped like it is doing here. People carried on, I see no reason that healthy people should be quarantining now, it makes no sense. In Europe infections are rising but serious illness is not, there is growing evidence that this disease will become like the Cold/Flu another disease which we have to live with. It's not nice but we are human beings, being alive is a risk. I think some people want us to have 100% certainty they won't get ill before doing anything, that's not going to happen. Now that's not to dismiss people's concerns, of course we should be protecting the vulnerable (I wouldn't require anyone with a health condition or who lives with someone with one, to return to work etc) but the rest of us should be prepared to take a bit of the strain here. We need to keep things going otherwise there are going to very serious repercussions and may lead to far more death than we are seeing now. If the depression is as big as the 1920s then I guarantee you we will see a return to far right/far left politics in Europe. We were already heading that way, a massive depression will just tip it over. I don't mean to sound crude, I absolutely respect people's worries but I fear the 'cure' is going to be just as bad as the disease. We fucked up at the beginning (I hold my hands up in being as much of a fool as anyone) but I don't see any forward thinking now. Why haven't we got a quicker testing? If we could test results in a hour or so it would revolutionise what we could do.

  20. I looked for a recipe of these online and all the pictures looked way different. Then I learned about Peruvian tequenos using wanton dough... which would look just like yours. At some point I’m going to try making some, maybe in the Venezuelan style or maybe like yours. The Venezuelan style’s bread is much more like pastry... might be easier for me to do as I’ve got no experience at all with wanton dough.

  21. I haven't seen my boss since April due to Covid, and it's been brilliant working from home. They have hardly bothered me and I've hardly bothered them. I can do all the little jobs I want to get done whilst 'working', I can get workouts done in the garden and runs on the treadmill on my downtime, and best of all, it's amusing to get paid whilst banging your missus on duty. But above all else, and those that know will know, there is nothing like taking a trip to your own toilet when you need a bit of 'you' time and knowing what your walking into. No nasty surprises, no unwelcome visitors to disturb you. Bliss.

  24. SV Mattersburg have ceased to be after 98 years. The club declared bankruptcy and gave up their license after Commerzialbank (their main sponsor) was involved in a banking scandal. A new club, Mattersburger Sportverein 2020, has been founded in order to continue the work of SV Mattersburg's youth academy. They will take part in the 2. Klasse Burgenland (lowest tier in Burgenland's football pyramid) from 2021/22.

  25. Story about middle class people working from home at a company in London someone I know works for. About 6 weeks ago the boss demanded everyone go back to the office or be sacked. The boss got covid. Killed his dad. Now in hospital on a ventilator. Office shut again.
