  4. The games themselves were competitive is what I'm trying to say. Rarely one-sided or dominant, there was always a bite and feistiness to it as a result of the competitiveness between the teams.

  5. The Irony is never ending. The guy literally signed a bill you might as well call "the hilary email bill" which made mishandeling of classified doc's a felony. Goodluck trying to worm your way out of this one. Fyi the redacted Affidavit was released today. Just getting into it but basically the FBI opened the investigation in Feb when they where contacted by the National Archives.

  6. I got where you're coming from to be honest. Liverpool/Chelsea had a rivalry (albeit short-term) in some sorts because of the competitive nature of where both clubs were at. They used to be games that any fan would look forward to purely because it was entertaining and there'd always be some kind of drama or controversy - I think the latter point helped because Jose was in charge and he gave a lot fuel to the fire. So while it might not have been a natural rivalry like Liverpool quite obviously have with Everton/Man Utd. It still had a lot of edge to it, and there was that competitive edge in Champions League. And I think in a few of the cup competitions (I still remember Riise banging in an unstoppable left-foot volley in FA or League Cup final). I'm with you on the reminiscing from that era. Liverpool and Arsenal was a great match-up too. Constantly goals galore in those games.

  7. He's quite skillful. Always looked half decent when he played for us in League Cup and stuff but didn't get many chances in the Premier League. Presumably for a reason.

  8. If Butt Hurt Billie is this critical on House of Dragon I can only imagine his reaction to the Rings of power series. I am highly anticipating the latter to be an abomination of incredible proportion.

  9. Mate fans make a rivalry. Most rivalries in the UK (that weren’t already derbies) were formed or intensified through hooliganism and that hatred will often stay on. There is barely any animosity between Chelsea and Liverpool fans.

  10. At this stage we are on the up, and players like Bruno are key to that, selling him will be setting ourselves back in a market where replacing him is more expensive than the money recieved. Bruno's price tag is unaffordable, unless Real have 200m lying around.

  13. Yep, that was always the question that we were all asking in the 1st fight. We knew that Usyk was an excellent technical boxer, but would Joshua's size and power just be too much for him? I think he answered that question for everyone, as he beat Joshua convincingly in Tottenham. This past Sunday's fight in Jeddah, Usyk proved he was the better fighter again, even though it was a much tougher fight for him this time around. At the end of the day, I just think that Usyk has Joshua's number. Jushua should just move on, as he has the ability to find success against other top heavyweights. If he beats Wilder for example, everyone will be singing his praises again and he will be the darling of the British boxing faithful once more.

  14. Well people are all going to have their own opinions on this. But I'd have had it even or Usyk leading after round 9. Then as we all know, Usyk won the last 3 rounds. Usyk threw and landed an incredible amount of punches. I do think that Joshua fought a much better fight than the 1st fight in Tottenham which I went to see. But Usyk was still the clear winner in my opinion. But I don't agree with those who have been slating Joshua. It is uncalled for, Joshua is an excellent boxer who has proven himself. He lost to the best pound for pound boxer in the world, there's no shame in that. I also agree about Andy Lee, he is excellent in his analysis. Moreover, Laura Woods is very level headed in her assessment of this fight and she shut that idiot Jamie O'Hara up, when he was coming out with his nonsense as regards to Joshua.

  15. Being honest like many others I thought in fight 1 that Joshua would have him out of there in 6 rounds. I honestly thought he'd be too big and hit too hard. Fight 2 I thought Joshua was going to go for an early onslaught. My reason is that Usyk came from a lower weight and hadn't had many fights at heavy. I never learnt from following Holyfield career it seemed lol.

  16. Well Joshua landed a big punch on Usyk's chin in the 10th round, but Usyk proved that he has a chin made of granite. Usyk was simply too slick, quick and too talented for Joshua. Usyk threw 712 punches against Joshua, which is unheard of in the heavyweight division. That's enough punches thrown to make any opponent tire. Usually heavyweights at best, throw around 350 punches in a 12 round fight. Joshua though gave his best in this fight, he was very aggressive against Usyk early. He even executed what looked like a couple of low blows against Usyk. In the end, it wasn't to be though, as Usyk was just too quick, smart and resilient for him. Joshua though, should find much more success against a boxer like Wilder though. Where he will be able to land much more punches and not get hit so much. 18. Nah not really. Arsenal and Chelsea are both big matches but I wouldn’t really consider either a rival

  19. I never said anything about hatred. You’re reading too much into this, I just said the two clubs had a lot of good games for a few years. I don’t care if the fans dislike each other or lick each other’s arseholes, I’m just talking about the games, and reminiscing on them. Now I don’t care if the two teams play but it used to be a highlight. The last time it looked even somewhat heated was the game after Torres transferred, and that was 12 years ago. I knew I should not have used the word rivalry because people always misunderstand that word. Every single team is a rival by definition

  20. I do recall a Pavard playing for France, and knowing the name makes me think he did something neat like scoring a cracking goal. This might be the same chap.

  24. I don't know why people downplay the rivalry that Liverpool and Chelsea had for about five years. It produced match after match of stellar performances on both teams. Nowadays not so much but from around 2005-2010 it was dynamite.

  25. Fury fails drugs tests, has a meltdown and messes the division up. Fans praise him. AJ finally has a melt down after a decade of being the face of boxing in the UK and hypocrites attack him, as they always do. This man changed the way boxing is viewed worldwide and saved a dead scene in the UK. He's an inspiration to me and always will be, much more than the other lying hypocrite. I hope Fury fights Usyk i really do, he would be the favourite and rightly so. But it needs to happen. The man is now demanding 500m after previously saying he would fight for free. Money doesn't matter....same man who gives all his fight purses to charity apparently!? Just shutup and make the fight.

  26. Lots of people hated it a lot earlier than that. I think I checked out around season four, watched a few more seasons but the quality was quickly becoming an issue. The main problem is that the two head writers just aren’t talented enough to work without Martin’s intense framework, and I think they fundamentally misunderstood why the show and books were popular. Something that was unique in wide appeal fiction quickly became very ‘Hollywood’. Everything got sloppy, sets, costumes, dialogue, pacing, too much meddling.

  29. AJ lost convincingly but I still think he'd do a lot better against a Fury or Wilder. He's always struggled with smaller fighters, put on top of that that Usyk's movement is off the charts its hard for him to hit him with the shots he likes. Styles make fights and I think that against someone of a similar size to AJ he will have a lot more success with those upper cuts and right hooks that went missing against Usyk. Ultimately AJ is a combination puncher, he wants to unload big time and that's much easier to do against a bigger man. I don't see Usyk beating Fury, I think Fury will smother him.

  31. Always mate, always. Was at the first fight, was something special. Hoping AJ can become a 3x Champ here, Usyk is P4P number one for me, so going to be some ask.

  33. Going to join in the sad parade. Just spent a few weeks dating a girl for the first time in ages. Liked her quite a bit. She just got back from holiday and doesn't want to continue. Disappointed but trying to be positive.

  35. Just had another thing fall through. Girl I dated for a couple months, she had a couple deaths in the family and asked for a break, so I didn't bother her for a few weeks, knowing we'd see each other at a house party last night. Wouldn't give me the time of day I left after only 2 hours. This is my life, I live in groundhog day when it comes to that scenario.
