Willian really has little incentive to leave. He wanted to stay in London and he’s not going to get better wages at Valencia.

Right. He's guaranteed his retirement at Arsenal. 3 years at 220kpw with all bonuses included. He also has his restaurant in London.

What's the restaurant?

If it's anything like him, I wonder how long it takes to get any service when you're there ...

Pepe has to be one of the worst signings ever, he has offered nothing at all, makes no impact when he comes on as a sub, dreadful when he starts.  I think Arsenal just need to cut their losses with him and sell him, it was such a bad deal that even people in the board have lost their job over it.

Mustafi is in talks to have his contract cancelled.   It has been a real disaster on the selling side of the club since Sanchez,  Arsenal have received no money from Ramsey, Ozil, Sokratis, Mkhitaryan and now Mustafi who cost the club 36 million.

BT really hammering home the 16 points from 18, which is good for Arsenal cos they’ve been shit for periods this season. But that run of games was against Brighton, Newcastle, Palace and West Brom. Not 4 of the hardest teams Arsenal will play this season, and Chelsea are a big name but that was also the build up to Lampard’s sacking.

Saints are a tough team and it shows quality if you beat them comfortably, but we’ll see what Arsenal are made of now as they play United, Wolves, Villa, Leeds, City, Leicester, Spurs, West Ham and Liverpool over the next 2 or so months.

Mustafi, Özil and Sokratis was £100m worth of player and probably another £100m in wages and we get absolutely nothing for them. Just goes to show how shoddily this club has been run. At least they're out the door now, still a lot to get rid of this summer.

Who'd you think you'll get shot of in the Summer? Luiz contract expires; Lacazatte, Elneny, Chambers, Nketiah, Guendozi, Mavropanos, Torreira, Saliba (defo going now), Maitland-Nile, Willock all have 1 year; Willian, Auba, Leno, Xhaka, Bellerin, Nelson, Smith-Rowe all have 2 years. Assuming you'lld hand extensions to Leno, Smith-Rowe, Xhaka, Nketiah and Bellerin?

Handbrake Off podcast reckon you'll be looking to get shot of 15 or so players?

Who knows with this club. A lot of it will depend on if Arteta survives the season and considering he didn't get sacked after losing 8 in 10 he probably will be manager at the beginning of the next one. Not expecting 15 to leave I'm sure some will stick on or just go out temporarily on loan. I think the only dead certs to stay are Leno, Tierney, Gabriel, Thomas, Saka, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe and Aubameyang. Then you have guys like Xhaka, Holding and Bellerin who are 100% staying if Arteta is here. I just hope for some vision and a clear plan, something we have lacked in the market for well over a decade.

Still think Arsenal should go all out for Allegri. Think Arteta may have set up the foundation for him

Arteta has only been there 2 minutes. Sacking people after 2 minutes isn't always the answer.

This isn't the Chelsea thread.

It's a matter of ambition for Arsenal. Either go after someone who's proven or continue the risk with Arteta while he learns his trade.

- 10 league defeats in 23 games
- failed to score in 9 league matches
- win rate of 39%

You'd reckon getting knocked out of the Europa league is the final straw for him.

Kroenke already knew that none of the fans like him. He'll continue not to care.

Kroenke's hated by the fans of his US teams too, I'm pretty sure. Other than the LA Rams, where he's mostly hated by the former Rams fans from their old hometown & the by fans of the rest of the NFL because team owners that move their sides to different cities seem to get a decent bit (of deserved, imo) hate.
