Dave
RIP The Wardrobe. Some of the pings he scored were exceptional.

Yes he was a beast in the midfield with Fulham and Portsmouth. Fond memories of his time in PL which seems like only yesterday.
N U F C
He was a quality player, very under-rated. Sad news at a very young age. RIP.

Lucas
Remember him breaking out with that famous Senegal team at the 2002 World Cup. Scored the winner against France and went from strength to strength prompting Fulham to snap him up. Such a shame. Can't think of as bad a year as we have had for losing so many Footballers. Bring on 2021. Rest in peace big man.

Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted November 30, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted November 30, 2020 Never heard of the illness and it also says that whilst there’s no cure it’s usually not life threatening. Sounds like he got the bad end of the stick. Sad.. RIP.

Michael
Another sad piece of news with Papa Bouba Diop dying young at only 42. He was such an imposing midfielder when he played and a hulk of a man. I first saw him play when he was an integral part of that 2002 Senegal World Cup team. He also went on to have successful spells at Fulham and Portsmouth among other clubs. R.I.P. Papa Bouba Diop
