Lucas Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 So just a Bilbao win needed then for another clean sweep. Could be another marathon at this rate.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 10, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted March 10, 2022 Results - Gameweek Four Casualties (0) A second clean sweep in a row means that this round of Last Man Standing is still going strong into a fifth phase. Survivors (11) Only three different teams saw backing in this week's La Liga fixtures. Valencia were first up on Saturday, and a flurry of early second-half goals in their home win over Granada was enough to secure a 3-1 win, to the delight of @Storts and @6666. Sunday brought a more cagey affair for backers of Barcelona, who came from behind to beat Elche 2-1 after waiting until the 84th minute for Depay's penalty to give them the lead. A win is a win, and @Bluewolf, @Lucas, @Aladdin, @Dan, @...Dan and @Rucksackfranzose progress to Gameweek Five as a result. @Michael, @DeadLinesman and @Tommy opted to invest in Monday's fixture between Athletic Club and Levante, and were rewarded for their patience with a comfortable 3-1 win for the hosts. Congratulations on your progress to Gameweek Five. Please read ahead for the next set of fixtures. Preview - Gameweek Five Below is an updated table and a fixture list for the next Gameweek. Remember to pick a team you haven't already used! Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 15, 2022 Author Subscriber Posted March 15, 2022 Results - Gameweek Five Casualties (1) This round of Last Man Standing continues to see an uncharacteristically high level of success for us collectively, but we do have our first casualty since Gameweek Two. @Aladdin will sit out the rest of this round as the sole backer of Valencia this week. Pepe Bordalas' side were unable to bring three points home from their trip to Getafe, which resulted in a 0-0 draw. Congratulations nonetheless for racking up 4 points from this round. Now it's time to pray for the downfall of the others! Survivors (10) A strong showing continues for the Last Man Standing gang, although the number of casualties since Gameweek One has finally overtaken the number of survivors. Many got their latest trial out of the way on Friday night by backing Atletico Madrid to beat Cadiz at home. The hosts were less than convincing but came away with a 2-1 win to send @Bluewolf, @Storts, @DeadLinesman, @Lucas and @Rucksackfranzose through to Gameweek Six. These guys had to wait until Sunday before they were joined by more comrades, @Tommy and @Dan also being made to sweat until Martin Zubimendi broke the deadlock between Sociedad and Alaves in the 70th minute, his winning goal securing their safety for another week. The rest of our survivors had an easier time, with Barcelona's 4-0 win delivering @Michael and @6666 another win, and Real Madrid's successful visit to Mallorca yielding them a 3-0 victory and progress for @...Dan as well. Congratulations guys, 5 points and counting. On we march... Preview - Gameweek Six All the usual information below with the last set of fixtures before the international break. Everyone's starting to run out of safe picks so make sure you don't repeat a team you've already used! Friday 18th March Athletic Club vs Getafe Saturday 19th March Deportivo Alaves vs Granada Elche vs Valencia Osasuna vs Levante Rayo Vallecano vs Atletico Madrid Sunday 20th March Espanyol vs Mallorca Cadiz vs Villarreal Celta Vigo vs Real Betis Sevilla vs Real Sociedad Real Madrid vs Barcelona Good luck!

Lucas Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 I think it has to be Osasuna as much as I don't want to copy
Subscriber Dan+ Posted March 15, 2022 Subscriber Posted March 15, 2022 The one time I do well so does everyone else I'll take Valencia. I'm not touching Bilbao with a bargepole, they've never not drawn 1-1 at home when I've needed them to win.
