In a moment of patriotic fervour Harry’s eyes misted up and he could only see the visage of ol’ Marge in Lloris’ eyes and he lost his nerve and sent the ball into the graces of Queen Liz.

Half the England team waving imaginary cards? But I was told that was only big bad Johnny Foreigner that did it?! xD

They were asking why it wasn’t a sending off to be fair. Not condoning it obviously, but it’s a stretch between what the usual view of this is when any player is fouled and imaginary cards are waved.

I had been feeling all along France would not be especially effected by all the injuries.

I have been braced that Grieznann, Mbappe & Giroud are significantly better on both paper & grass than a declining Kane, over hyped Foden & asking too much of Bellingham.

And also that everyone from Macron, Deschamps & through to the fishermen massively, massively want to beat England & edge closer to the 4 star nations. With equal excitement.

How classic is this of Kane’s England. Gifted the fucking match on a gold filigree platter only to fuck it up in the most impressive fashion possible

Great idea to sub on a forward to tie the game with one minute, couldn’t do that earlier in a fucking knockout game

Especially affected? The only reason England had a chance in this game is because the starting left back is injured and Theo Hernandez ia medicore

England and missing pens though. Name a more iconic duo.

Half of Kane’s tournament goals for England are pens, and if it isn’t half it is bloody close
