nfb_10 Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 Gerard Pique is the best centre back in the world on his day, he's certainly a MUCH better defender than Sergio Ramos, who for whatever reason many people seem to rate.

Because they let his 'late winning goals' cloud their judgement and completely ignore the fact he is quite honestly bang average as a defender. I'm actually surprised he didn't retire from football after he suffered the embarrassment no defender has ever endured back in 2006 against Ronaldinho. Great footballer, game winner, but average defender. Pique is fantastic on his day but has looked quite embarrassing when the whole team has looked poor. Still, I'd rate only Bonnucci, Silva, Godin, and Alderweireld ahead of him.
Moderator Tommy Posted June 29, 2017 Moderator Posted June 29, 2017 Marc-Andre ter Stegen is at least on the same level as Manuel Neuer.
Guest Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Chile under Pizzi AT FULL STRENGTH is better than Sampaoli's Chile.

nfb_10 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Zinedine Zidane is not one of the best managers in the world.......yet.
The Käiser Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 1. Away goal rule should be turfed during after extra time 2. Italys "hoodoo" on Germany consists of 2 regular time wins. (1982 & 2012) All other games went to a 90min draw or extra time. Close encounters

The best modern keepers need to be able to deal with pressing.

There are a lot of people actually in favour of totally scrapping the away goals rule. Personally I agree with you, it should stand but shouldn't come into effect anymore during extra time. It's unfair to lose on away goals if, say, you only had 90 minutes at their ground but they got 120 at yours.
Cicero Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Signing Jon Obi Mikel has set the club back for years.
nfb_10 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Neymar leaving is far from the disaster some people think it would be, I only see us improving as a team and coming out better with that amount of money as long as it's wisely used

Guest Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 An opinion of mine that I've changed, but I've finally decided that Lewandowski is the best striker in the world.

I always rated him a lot. To me he is the best striker after suarez but since suarez is not really in his form anymore then yes definitely lewa has to be the best striker on planet right now. Can think of anyone who comes close to him tbh
Azeem Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 The only way to make teams give importance to the FA cup is by letting the winner play in the Champions league play-offs
